Chris Claremont is a legendary comic book writer best known for his unprecedented 17-year run on the "X-Men" series for Marvel Comics from 1975 to 1991. Under his tenure, Claremont transformed the X-Men from a floundering title into one of the industry's most popular and influential series. His intricate storytelling, combined with a deep exploration of character relationships, emotions, and societal issues, set new standards for the medium. Collaborating with top-tier artists like John Byrne, Dave Cockrum, and Jim Lee, Claremont co-created iconic characters such as Rogue, Mystique, and Phoenix, and penned hallmark story arcs like "The Dark Phoenix Saga" and "Days of Future Past." His contributions to the comic book industry and to the rich tapestry of the Marvel Universe remain unparalleled.

Claremont: "You can't have Kitty be intimate with an adult man, that would be inappropriate!"
also Claremont: "Don't bring Jean back, bring an alternate Jean from another dimension and make her 15 so we can screw with Scott!"

Dude this interviewer is extremely loud. I'm watching on TV and Chris is far from his mic so he's quiet whereas this other dude is making me deaf any time he laughs.

I love these guys, but I'm really disappointed hearing Walter Simonson talking about making a character "overweight" as part of putting that character through the wringer. I know a lot of really fat people. Some of them are overweight, and some of them are just as fat, but it's the perfect weight for their bodies. All of them are perfectly happy and healthy, and I feel disgusted hearing someone judging fat people as if being fat is somehow horrible.

Thanks for watching and your comment. I'm a big guy myself, i remember back in that time I suffered a lot of name calling. It's amazing how times have changed, even in the last 10 years.
