I had degenerate disc disease and waited 10 years for back surgery and it's considered failed. In pain all day in fact my pain is worse and other issues and been denied SSI. But I had a federal attorney look at my case and can't figure out y I'm not on it. I see certain people get it with hardly anything wrong but my age hurts me.

If u have some extra time can I ask you a few questions about disability? I'm scheduled to have triple fusion in January, and am wondering if it's even worth applying. I'm a basket case and can walk a little bit not far. I have a orthopedic surgeon and documentation. Is it worth applying?

So sorry - ugh. And then you might get well-meaning advice such as “ sit down and relax” which doesn’t work if you have problems also in another area of the back. Meanwhile, people still expect us to work just as fast as we did before these problems, and some doctors tend to think that just ibuprofen is the godsend of pain relief

OK there are only seven vertebrae in the cervical spine. It goes from C1 to C7 so just wanted to make sure you get that right. There are eight pairs of cervical nerves, but there are only seven vertebrae. So when you do talk about the cervical spine, it only goes to C7.

Anxiety disorder, chronic depression, mild scoliosis upper back, degenerative disease, sacro hips, osteoarthritis, I’ll find out more hopefully in new MRI. I get stabbing pains in thorasic area on left behind heart area. Just excruciating. Awful pain in left buttocks that’s hard to stand on with stiff pain. Awful burning pain across upper back if I stand too long over 20 or 25 minutes along with those other stabbing pain ls especially, occurring. I tried a new job in my sector after 4 years out and felt tortured. Had to take week off after 3 hrs. Tried again, mixing sitting. Just as bad. Tried different shoes, worse. I’ looking into SSDI. I can’t work. I had a car accident in my early 20’s T Boned. Always had back pain, it got worse. A recent doctor found rib touches spine with spurs, now. Might be the worsening stabbing pains that stick around more, now. I’m 50, now. Where us thus Severity form fir my medical team?

Complete tear, another small tear, bicep tear and have been in therapy for a few months. I am pretty much being forced out of my job because of my health. The details really aren't all that relevant as I've learned. No matter how extreme your case it really depends on the judge you have. The worst are easy to notice by the vast number of judicial reviews that come up. The state your in matters. The judge you get matters. You're condition doesn't matter. State governments do influence how ALJs behave and work. If they just deny case after case and abuse vocational rehabilitation "experts"(which i cannot stress enough the *junk* science at work there) that have terrible sucess rates historically. Its just that no one has bothered to cancel them. 0.2% sucess rate the last time it was externally(meaning objectively or from outside the industry itself) analyzed. Lack of external analysis and replication left behind the scientific process. All to fuel denial decisions for judges that wish to deny access to the benefits we're supposed to get following disabiling conditions.

I'm sorry to hear about your injury. It sounds like you've had surgery on your cervical spine, specifically the C2, C3, C4, and C5 vertebrae. These are located in the neck area and injuries to this part of the spine can be serious.
If you're considering applying for Social Security Disability benefits due to your injury, the Social Security Administration will evaluate your condition based on your medical evidence, the severity of your symptoms, and the extent to which your injury affects your ability to work. For more information on how to apply for disability benefits after a spinal injury, you can watch this video: ruclips.net/video/m_pfNjzG8RY/видео.html.
