Hi mate great video but yeah it's kicking off to the side I've never seen that before. I've put max 8 G2 esc with hpi 2200kv motor in one of my kraton's with standard spur and 14t pinion. And it goes great. Try turning the punch up all the way 👍🦘😁🤣🤣
I have to agree with you on this system. I run it in a lightweight kraton that I built and am about to take it out. I may try putting it my maxx, but we'll see. I've had it for 5 months now and am just not impressed.... I'm going to try running it with the sensor unplugged first to see if that makes a difference
Best looking Fireteam on the internet! Fun Bash. Something does seem off though with 6S 2250 it should be a lot punchier. Air control with that heavy body seems like the downside. This Black Friday 2022 deal has me very tempted to get a Fireteam.
Just grabbed one of these on their sale. Can't pass up a truck like this for $399....Would be irresponsible to not get it lol. Seems the stock tires perform great but I'm not a fan of the side walls how they look at all. Got some belted six pack ST 3.8s I'm gonna try on mine
I think it's the weight of those batteries kicking to the side like that. I stay away from heavy batteries because of this. Especially when your launching it 50+ feet.
Really weird how it angled to the side on every jump 🤔 I love how the Fireteam handles with stock tires and the lighter diff set up. It’s 200k in the center.
I think I would prefer a little thicker. BUT, I had just got finished running the Sledge with that Castle 1650kv set up. And dam dude that truck is a frigging animal now. It really makes everything else seem slow. :)
I agree with that, 6s rigs on a buggy or truggy is too much power for the traction you have. I prefer a 6s rig in a car with bigger wheels, where it will take more power and less kv.
I have a max8 g2 with a hobbystar 1730kv in my Kraton exb and it felt gutless on stock punch 5 but bumping that up to 7 made a huge difference. My braking was fine but I've heard those fireteam tires don't offer nearly as much air control as copperheads or backflips. I really like the esc and plan to keep running it but I think I'll be going up to a hw 1650kv motor since the Hobbystar gets so hot.
Put a Max6 and a hobbystar 4585 1580kv please Such a bad a** combo. Is had it in my Mojave with kraton arms etc So basically a fire team without the body and it's Ballistic you'll love it.Also 6s backflips
Did you build that ramp? You can hear the tork especially at the base of your ramp when ya just give her a tad, good session way to start the morning!!🤙
I have recently noticed with my max 8 G2 that when I go to jump sometimes it’s like it is dead. There is nothing wrong with it. It runs fine any other time but I can hit a ramp and it’s like I give it for trigger and there’s nothing there, just for a split second whenever I’m hitting the ramp or jumping. I have a big ditch in my yard and it does it every time I go down in the ditch to jump out. I’m not sure what’s going on.
U must turn boost and turbo mode unbelievable power
i like how you showed us the battery side of the truck
I was running the Max 6 and HW4985 1650kv. Now I'm running the TP4990 1800kv, and holy moly macaroni, lol.
i like the body on the fireteam so nice👍😀
You had a nice audience there😊 Certainly performed better on that grass section. I think you are spot on with why those tires were not hooking up.
Yeah, they were really spinning. The truck was still a lot of fun. Just had to get comfortable on what I was driving on.
Btw, MTX in your future?
@@JasonPerrinRCVlogs I want to but I got to thin out the herd a bit on these larger trucks.

It's a small system for a big heavy car
Great Buggy with any tires👍 Just move the battery tray to the rear position 75% brake works great Got a Max6 in it now🏆
Might just need to turn the brakes and the punch up, maybe?

Cool RC and great off-road bashing

@@JasonPerrinRCVlogs a fully upgraded Sledge seems to be a monster! Looking forward to that video 👍
Awesome.
If you could choose would you go max8 g2 combo or 8s spektrum 160a/1250kv combo?
I actually like this setup more on 4s geared up rigs than 6s rigs

Is the max 6 G2 combo more powerful or less powerful? What’s the diff between “max 8” and “max 6”?
You need the max 6 it help on 6s best even tho it's 8s

Is the original motor esc faster? The stock stuff.

It's the longer wheel base. The ramp is too short for the angle. Try lowering it. Or more power!
Is these system better n faster then stock
U think the stock system is better
So the stock system is better then the g2
And obviously the 1650kv system is better
Uvsaid u like the 1650 combo better ?
Just love that body
