The upgrade kit sells from MTH parts and sales, at the time of this comment its $200 + shipping. My train club (coltrains.com) is an MTH ASC, i know they usually* charge $300 for parts and labor, my assumption is ASC's in your area should charge similar rates The other thing to point out is not all PS1 engines have PS2/PS3 sound files, the biggest ones for me that will become problems are the subways.
