- Prosecutors will no longer go after a college student who was accused of rape, after surveillance footage seems to clear the 20-year-old. University of Southern California student Armaan Premjee was accused of sexually assaulting a 19-year-old student in her dorm room in April. "If it weren't for these videos, I don't know what I would have done," Premjee told Inside Edition. The students met at a club near campus but he says his accuser was the aggressor and was coming on to him. #InsideEdition

Despite the judge dismissing the trial, USC's Office of Equity and Diversity decided that Armaan violated TItle IX. This decision was made by a panel that did not see the video footage, and Armaan was not permitted to defend himself. Armaan was consequently expelled from USC. This has harmed his reputation, although, his interview with FOX 11 has 7million views, and the public demands justice for Armaan.

I'm telling you, the more people like this woman falsely accuse men of rape, society will question whether or not everything a woman says is true, and when that happens, it will only allow real rapist to take advantage of this and rape other women. It's terrible, the justice system should handle people who falsely accuse others of crimes they didn't commit harshly. This kind of thing could get people hurt or worse killed.

She didn’t file false charges. She didn’t call the police, or file the report. Her roommate called the police, and public prosecutors took up the case. She just gave the statement that she didn’t remember what happened. That can happen when you’re drunk, even if you can walk, and if she lied to prosecutors, she could face charges too. It’s the district attorney’s fault, and the roommate’s fault.

Idk what really happened, but I checked like 5 others sources, and they all says it wasn't her making the accusations: I mean, even this one quotes her only with "I don't remember anything."
The other sources says she lost constituous later on, needed help, and one of her roomates then called police, believing she wasn't constituous during sex.
She told the police and the court she doesn't remember anything, but she don't think he did anything wrong to go to jail (she said something like that they both should had been smarter with what they were doing). He was basically prosecuted because they believe she wasn't constituous enought to give consent."
*I’m surprised the judge dismissed the case. If the hearing was to see if there was Probable Cause then the judge should have let it go to trial (I’m pretty sure.)* I would say he is Not Guilty, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t technically Probable Cause.
That said, I don’t think the D.A. should have filed a case against him. That’s what’s scary about the law: a little evidence is enough for an arrest and judges normally don’t dismiss the case like this.
EDIT: I just heard that the woman didn’t even want him to be charged/arrested. Also I heard the police without the video evidence from the D.A. I wonder if that’s why the judge was able to dismiss.
