I mean...you can literally have C6 R5 ..but if the dev decide to make enemies hit hard with 30mil of hp then it will humble player(which they won't do cause genshin is casual catering)... ..this event wasn't even that hard with right element...

@@soujiokita6062 I can see what you mean, but 3 of the bosses this event requires the right element as well as correctly utilizing those elements in timings to shield break. While Geovishap yeah was a massive DPS check but still requires a lot of dodging (zhongli's shield breaks after 1-2 attacks.

I loved this event. The 1st boss I was able to platinum with c0 5* with 4* weapons. The others, i was off by 2 to even 20s.
I think most CC didn't promote or play this event because they were afraid to admit genshin can have difficulty even them can fail to do.
I've even seen some commenting its not hard but annoying, etc.. you know the usual cope.

The best thing about the event is if we didn't use the optimal team matchup for the boss, we can hear the climax part of GI battle OST's because battle will last long enough.

I absolutely loved it. It was so fun getting platinum on all challenges it finally feels like having good builds is getting rewarded. teams used were kokomi mono hydro , tighnari spread , keqing quickbloom and diluc vape (well... more like furina vape since i had to swirl the kazuha burst with pyro to break the shield and having 3 sources of it actually made forward vape possible) in that order.

This event was so good. I literally used every char in my account as well as tried to push the time up while getting platinum. I have seen the biggest whales fail at this event as well due to not understanding game mechanics so for those who think you could just c6 r5 and you would be ok you have rude awakening ahead. It had everything from damage checks to dodge checks and char account checks. It pushed some players to figure out how to create good teams and not just pick your fav or strongest chars. And it also had coop so you could help friends who struggled or needed just a little bit of help. 10-10 event mihoyo. We really need more of this in genshin 🙏🙏

That gives me flashback to the very first vagabond event, can't beat without co-op. well those are hard times, Since me and my brother decided that we didn't do co-op at all, we have our own struggle and it felt satisfying to do this event on our own.

Great video, I hope they bring this event back. Now’s a bad timing for me b/c I’m busy trying to reach endgame for WuWa. Once I’m done with that I’ll return to Gen as I do every summer.

Literally how I felt after this event: still worthy!
I didnt get 8k on previous vagabond rerun, but now got platinum on every boss, first week f2p. Neuv Furina were easy Regisvine. Geovishap was just bruteforced by Arle, very close. Fischl soloes chicken shield, then use whatever. Dehya Baizhu breathed through Seahorse shield with ease when whole mono pyro couldn't. It was great to beat the ""Whale event"" after playing for so long.

You show a lot of game-knowledge and inspiration when picking your teams. I wish I had just an ounce of that because while my account is very invested (some constellation 6 limited chars), I didn't do nearly as well. Zyox and Zajeff co-oped this event last night and it was difficult to watch. I think they had to pick gold on some because they were dying that much.

Literally me man, I just found out that you can use special attack against the boss today after I watched some video.
I guess I was just bored with the easy combat event that we get lately that I have paid attention to this event much and just get reward and done with it. (Those combat event with one shot camera)
Man I wish we have this kind of Combat Event frequently. And I hope Imaginary Theater will be like this.

This event actually motivated me to try out so many different team comps and characters that I've put off building. The allure of just being 10-20 seconds from platinum got me to heavily invest ie. finally c6'ed bennet for Arle on day 4, leveled up keqing to 90 for day3, and crowned kokomi for day 1. I'm not a whale but I have been playing since 1.0 and bought welkin for 90% of genshin's life. Was able to get all days platinum medal except for day 2 (no zhongli and almost maxing diona still wasn't enough) and with no mega dolhpin characters (C2 4*weap nahida & furina - C1R1 Yelan, Arle, hutao - C0 kazuha, kokomi, neuv, raiden, yae). Also spent so many talent books, char exp and 7 mill mora over the entire event. This was probably the most fun I've had teambuilding and researching team comps and not using my braindead nuev, furina, kazuha combo. I don't get the complaints of the event being only for mega whales since you could certainly get the 4 platinum without any c6 characters. I hope they do a rerun of this event but allow you to borrow 1 character from a friend (I still don't want to pull for zhongli just for a shield).

It's cool that you had fun with C6R5 stuff, for most of us the event was either a free fight (all buffs) or a long and painful one (0-1 buffs) depending on the chosen difficulty. Technically picking 2 or 3 buffs could've been the "right" difficulty level but there was no reward and therefore no reason to go for it.
For the record, i'm a C0R0 abyss enthusiast, not the "target audience".

The hardest was vishap for me, easiest was the horse due to me finally able to use my ayaka team to its fullest.

I platinum all of them , the hardest one was the regisvine .
I managed to finish the regisvine on mobile thanks to kokomi .
Thats indeed a very hard content , i had to use food buffs , i have no c6r5’s but i do have c1/0 r1’s well invested characters .
