We look forward to the online classes. Your teaching method is well done. The laughter reminds us of the joy that music brings from deep inside. Thanks for uploading this video.
This is the best video I’ve found on subdivisions! I just couldn’t wrap my head around it until seeing this! And your notations are amAzing! Thank you so much!
@@Handpan360 😊 seriously, i wish there were tutorial like this, i understand 100 times faster when somebody teaches in turtle speed. If you dont have a musical background most of the tutorials are frustrating, yours makes me happy 😀😀😀 🙏🙏🙏 thank you brother
@chiefofnothingtv This makes me so happy. I am really glad you connect with the work. I am the same way. I need things very specifically explained, and very slowly. also... don't worry, I plan on uploading 2-4x a week so hopefully in the next 6 months ill have 100 new videos up 😅😆💗
Thank you so much! I’m excited for your first instrument!!!! If you want any help, I am always happy to advise and also i sell several quality builders on my website Handpan360.com
Thank you! You have the best laugh hahah Thank you for mentioning to think of it as a meditation .. wonderful perspective to have. I really slowed down and played this on each hand, on each finger. Amazing to feel your hands adapt after playing it for a while.
Nice video Peter. On a visit with Patrick Hadley he mentioned he knew you. I told Pat I had seen lessons from years back and found your laugh and style engaging. I also had a chance to play on his handpans one of which was stainless and sounded similar to the one used on this video. Great sound especially the ding tone. Looking forward to more of these.
Patrick is amazing! What a wonderful person eh...I think your right and he may also have an Axiom stainless. Anyways, thanks for the kind words and appreciation. Have a good one :)
I am an absolute beginner and don,t even know how to orient the handpan. I have a Kelisting pan. Do I have the emblem facing me or out? So happy to begin to learn this beautiful instrument,

I am finally getting back into being able to play kit and even though it could potentially double the amount of time it's going to take for me to learn how to accompany people in different styles I am learning how to keep time using both hands. Good for you for encouraging people to lead with both hands! Dug the video. Very clear teaching and building-up of concepts throughout. Was it a challenge getting the pan and voice to balance well? The sound balance is very good.
Oh John David. You always have the best comments. Yes! I wish when I first started I knew to work both hands. It is especially relevant for handpan. Plus as a left hander I never particularly appreciated the suggestion to "just flip it around and figure it out" LOL. Love to the leftys
@@Handpan360 Cool, I have never used a shotgun mic before. I have seen great music RUclipsrs like Brandon Acker appear to use a single mic off-camera for talkback and playing guitar. It works well for him and I think that it's working well for you. I usually see people using lapel mics in spaces that have really extreme reverb or outdoors.

ok, ill try to get to it. It is a bit of a process and I have been told the result is not the best translation. Were the subtitles on this one good enough for you to understand? ok, intentaré llegar a él. Es un proceso complicado y me han dicho que el resultado no es la mejor traducción. ¿Los subtítulos de este fueron lo suficientemente buenos para que los entendieras?
Hi! I'm a super beginner. I found it hard to follow, because you show the notation system (0 center, then numbers for notes up to 7), then you show the table for the time stamps of the notes, but they weren't connected. Like, I wasn't sure which notes from 0-7 you're actually using because you go into that part fast. Could you clarify?

I don’t recall hearing what kind of pan you are playing? It sounds awesome. 😮
Great video! This is the only instance where I am willing to accept the not-looking-into-the-camera-perspective since Apple came up with it in 2007.
I am so happy abot this. I already missed your laugh!! 🥰
Thanks Fabienne :)
I like your style of teaching. Very down to earth and relaxed. As a lefty I like the idea of leading with either hand. Thank you.
