For someone like myself who is rather avoidant of sharp angles/edges when handling tools, this was an amazing breakdown. Would you be able to do a comparison to the Charge TTI (feel, edges, the ruler etc) and/or the Surge? Would love to see more comparisons like this.
The wave has a mechanical safety to keep the blades from opening when the pliers are deployed ( the pin inside the thumb opening ). The ARC uses the wedge at the end of the blades to keep the blades from opening when the pliers are open with less operating parts. making it simple and doing the same job.
Had my ARC a few days and the toolset is great, the one handed operation is a bit of a gimmick not really easy to handle one handed, the sheath is frankly garbage, Leatherman WTF are you doing shipping with a sheath of this quality, it just is way too big, garbage !
Thanks! I always appreciate quantifiable data that includes the users opinions! Well done👏👍
Thanks!!

I’m glad it was helpful! I would be happy to do those videos if I only owned those tools. If I come across them, I’ll do it 😀
Very helpful video!
Glad to hear that!
Thanks for the helpful video! I think I’ll stick with my Wave. No serrated blade is a big dealbreaker for me since it comes in handy a lot for me
Agreed, there are too many quick and dirty cuts that arise that dull the straight blade...

Yeah I noticed that. Seems like they keep coming up with more clever ways to accomplish the same task...smart engineering for sure!
Nothing like making a video with the hiccups. 😂
😂 literally have had hiccups for the last 48 hours. I almost have a six pack from all the contractions.
I want to put a sceraded blade on my Arc. Which one will fit?
It should if you a p4. Haven’t tried yet myself

I know, it is so weird that the sheath is such junk...
