Jon was granted immunity and had a choice between three Asian dishes for the other cooks to put their own spin on, and he chose stir fry. The judges also allowed Jon to choose one other home cook to save from elimination and he chose David. Once the challenge was over, Jon was allowed to save another home cook, and he picked Jennifer, who had been struggling. Andrew and Line made the two best dishes, making them team captains in their first team challenge. The worst three dishes were made by Debbie, Kyle and Kwasi. Debbie and Kyle were eliminated.

I think Andrew was great in this episode. I love that he took Singapore Noodles and adapted it to rice. That shows me how creative he is when it comes to his cooking skills. I wonder what Andrew would’ve done if he had reached the finale
He ranked 10th from season 2 and ranked 4th from season 7 back to win.

Canada's judges are just so much more helpful when they judge, its not as dramatic and harsh for reality tv moments like american masterchef

Line was the most annoying contestant of this season, always presented herself as fighter but at the same time she was always whining.
I think john should’ve chose ramen. That looked like the hardest one there. Also I found it hilarious when the judges went away and said “I really think someone’s going home” BRO ITS YOUR ELIMINATION ROUND those are your rules Wdym you think 😂😂😂
Honestly i think the roti and curry would've been the hardest since it can't really be changed much, ramen can be customized from the broth to the toppings, stir fry is harder then ramen as well lol
Andrew would be f*** up without kevin giving him the protein he needed for his dish ❤ Respect for this cooks!

curry and ramen sounded a lot more complicated than stir fry
i think personally the stir fry leaves the most space for creativity which is what makes it slightly difficult.. bc if you don’t know how put flavors and ingredients together you’ll be stuck
I’d say curry is the easiest out of the three.
@@tarachristie933 varies from person to person. For a Canadian not used to working with so many spices and flavours, it can be very hard.
I like how chef alvin open his mouth and eat the food. That’s how us an asian eat their food.

Why are you allowed to say Philadelphia cream cheese but you have to blur the package?
In my opinion I think its due to like sponsorship or whatever they don't 2ant to get sued, possibly for showing a product that that company didn't allow to be shown and maybe they can say it due to freedom of speech you can say. Whatever you want and they can't blur out a name brand someone's says because of that
Also I'm not sure if that right but it's my opinion of what I think I might be wrong
I think it has to do with packaging laws and licensing.

That's how it goes, it shows that they cook like every other cook in that place that do what would they do to their meat, soup etc. if that makes sense.
While Jon was the best of the 3, I think his dish was the easiest to execute.

That's kind of genius though. Don't challenge yourself if you don't have to to win. If you do what you know you can do, you don't run the risk of flopping.

@@TheCyanKiller Once again that’s not my point and it doesn’t matter who else went home because Debbie’s treatment was wrong. Idc who left after her she deserved better than how they treated her. Debbie being the first one to leave was proof that they judge past more than food. They legit called her old and acted like she was washed up because of her age when there have been several other old people stay longer in other seasons. They have had people who can’t cook well stay in the show for drama and THAT is the worst part about this show.
They both left in the same show and in the same round... they had to chose one to leave first and going first doesn't mean you did worse. Also you can't be saying you know more than the judges@@billbob6029
