@@Oracle1426 Yes, thanks for asking. He's so cute, gives me affection and keeps me active, i got him in August and named him Pepper. He has more of a Yorkie look. I needed a small doggie that doesn't shed and he's perfect. Sooooo adorable.

I just got a Morkie, he doesn’t look anything like yours. He is 8 weeks old, and only 3 pounds. Are the parents pure breeds, or are they both Morkies, or mixed with something else? Nico’s mom is a Yorkie, and Dad is a Maltese.
Both mom and dad are Morkies!
@@lilythemorkiepuppy916 ---- The mixture of parents make the difference. Maltese mom & Yorkie dad produce a completely different pup than Yorkie mom & Maltese dad. That's the best formula for "Maltese-like" puppies. My Morkie had a Morkie mom & a Yorkie daddy. The Morkie genes prevail.
@@dougwilliams9155 If I want my morkie to look like the puppy and the dark morkie parent in the video. where the coat is still dark and not too straight and silky like a yorkie adult?
@@The_Mastery You can't really predict the coloring. My basically dark Morkie mommy mated with 5-lb Maltese produced one black puppy similar to Mommy's coloring, 3 golden/light brown pups, and a darker brown in-between color pup. Genetics.

@@lilythemorkiepuppy916 sorry to bother u again. I'm going to be a New mom to a morkie in a couple of weeks. How did Theo get so big? He's gorgeous. I do personally worry about mine for one of the reasons I chose him was his small size. He's going to be an apartment pup. Everyone including the breeder said 4-10lbs max as an adult. Were they lying to me?
The morkie size is fully dependent on the parents. The mix is a yorkie and a Maltese. My Theo is a bigger size dog but if you look at Lillie she is more petite on the yorkie size

Mommies can go to 14 pounds

@@lilythemorkiepuppy916 I'll be meeting them when I pick him up. Both yorkies and maltese are all classified as toy, (unless mixed with a larger breed). The only other size for either of them is teacup. I've been searching and searching and I can't find any yorkies or maltese over 8-9lbs max. So strange but...Your dogs are both gorgeous and so playful. You're blessed. Thank you so much for your help.✌
