Just going to let people know that I think that this deserves more development and we should try to fund this guy to make a full story for this. Because if anything this just feels like a trailer for a movie
Stuff like this takes alot of time and effort to make, including money too. But so far there has been 4 follow ups to the lore, starting from One vs skid, skid vs one by sopple, and skid vs larry by sopple aswell, thats all the follow ups I know of, unless you are rich and wanna fund this lore to continue even further; I think it was just started by Hyun as a passion project for fun and doesnt expect to persistantly expand on it further, maybe drop some more lore if he feels like it.

Ptsd is horrifying honestly my friend served in iraq for a few years and saw most of his comrads die in front of him and when he came back one hug was all it took for him to break down and we've been dealing with it thoroughly but it still creeps up on him sometimes. I used to watch these types of videos at school on the computer during IT class (I forget the website). I thought they were the coolest thing EVER. I even made my own short one once and actually surprised myself with how well it turned out with diverse camera angles and things - everyone I showed was super impressed, they could barely believe it was me that made it. Anyway, story of my life is I never really got encouragement from family or teachers. I was such a creative kid I just needed an extra push from the adults around me - it never happened, and now, in my 30’s, I look back at so many parts of my life thinking “man, what if I had stuck at that certain thing - where I’d be rn”. Sorry for the rant, but long story short, if you’re young and have a passion - pursue it with everything you got. Don’t have any regrets in life, regrets are the biggest burdens we can ever carry.
Easter Egg! If you pause at 00:55, you can see that both Yoyo and One belongs to Aether. Knowing a little about the history of Cier, the attackers is probably The Blackwatches, who is in rival with Aether City, and knowing this, I'm pretty certain One and Yoyo is seperated in The Great War between Aether and The Blackwatch, therefore the floating city is Aether 2.0. So we can assume One is an Aether citizen held hostage by The Blackwatch, and anger turn him from a loving brother, to a heartless killer. Sorry if I'm wrong Hyun, it is just my theory.........

One has been seen to have an occurring case of PTSD that disables him from being able to properly think since he's used to having blood on his hands. After all, once a killer, always a killer. Nothing can change the fact that blood is on One's hands, and he can't erase it.

I think I'm the most surprised at how you were able to take (a remix of) Nuclear, a song that was used in a triple-A video game trailer, and somehow marry it to visuals that are so much more engaging and emotionally invested than the Metal Gear Solid Fucking Five trailer was with no words, 2d animation, no faces, and a far smaller budget! This honestly is one of the videos I have latched onto the hardest.
I really liked the Original "One vs Many" when I was a kid and I even did his poses with plastic toys :D But I never saw a follow up to this blue stickman wielding a green sword of some kind It was weird...Until Now I still want a full animated series Hyun!
2 and 1/2 minute video 5 days = 120 hours = 7200 minutes 7200/2.5 = 2880 He's seen it 2 thousand 8 hundred and 80 times by day 5. And it's still not enough.
There's a whole universe of these guys... it's crazy how fun it is for all of us when Stick Fighter Animators get together on a project that spans several generations and has plot, plot twists, epic fights and you can almost see the improvement of said animators as we grow up. I was 16 years old when I first started on Hyuns Dojo. Now I'm 26 and I started understanding more in depth what loss and suffering truly is and what it takes to sacrifice for the better of others... All through emotionless stick figures... An animator is cool when they can create faceless stick figures and make you cry and laugh and feel the story... And the Lore is the icing on the cake ❤😊

Damn, looking back from this animation again is so *Bizarre* and *Tragic* for just one stickman a.k.a ‘’One’’. But all in all, the animation is so smooth and amazing that this “is” the reason I want to keep on going for my dream animations (It’s technically my course) rn lmao. Good job, Mr. Hyun! (^_^👌)
Actually he has a few weaknesses like for example his blade is coated with an acid to make up for it's lack of sharpness. If the enemy can stop or resist this One is vulnerable. One is also reliant on his weapon because he is not very strong but instead relies on speed
There's Bog, GildedGuy, Umbrella, Yupia, and if you head over to the official list of duelists in the Dojo website, you get Arzon, Lucien, Manon Nova, Noid, S2, Biske, Yullis, and a whole lot more who are capable of getting toe-to-toe with One.
@@thedolphin602 Bog has nigh instantaneous regeneration. Who knows if he won? It showed a clip of him being sliced and that was it. What is known, though, is that One can fight well enough against Bog.
Welp time for a story based on what I watched. One and YoYo, were brothers, living in the land of Cier. Then it all changed when a mysterious force invaded the land, most likely for the material cierium. As the invasion progressed, The brothers were forced to run away to the capital of Cier (just a guess) that could lift up into the air, and evade the threat surging on the ground. Just before it lifted up, One and YoYo, were seperated as YoYo was taken aboard the flying city, but One was left on the surface to be captured by and detained as Prisoner 001. Eventually, One escaped from his captors, and after his escape, would eventually *find or craft* his sword. Driven almost to madness from his time in prison, one went on to murder many of the invaders. Years later, he would learn that YoYo, after all this time, is *still alive* and went on to embark on a journey. During his journey, he would still have flashbacks of Cier, and occasionally, would mistake other fighters, for the invaders of Cier, and went on to kill them. At the end, One finds YoYo, and the story, ends there (I'm done. Wait for more on One to find out more.) P.S - This is the story I was thinking about. If You have any problems, that's your problem. Not mine.
I also saw some very fast scenes, so to change the story a little bit, One, imprisoned, hired a blacksmith to forge a sword, but just as it was completed, the captors killed the blacksmith, and that's when One snapped or went mad, and killed many of the captors.

Though there are some clarifications if you wanted to know: - Judging from the cogwheels on the boats, the mysterious force is from Blackwatch, which is also a part of the land of Cier. In fact, Aether and Blackwatch were in an alliance of sorts through trading. - The city that lifts off the ground is Aether 2.0. You can see the previous city name "Aether" on the building at 0:55. There is a link in the video description with information about Cier that you might find interesting.

I thought they were the coolest thing EVER. I even made my own short one once and actually surprised myself with how well it turned out with diverse camera angles and things - everyone I showed was super impressed, they could barely believe it was me that made it.
Anyway, story of my life is I never really got encouragement from family or teachers. I was such a creative kid I just needed an extra push from the adults around me - it never happened, and now, in my 30’s, I look back at so many parts of my life thinking “man, what if I had stuck at that certain thing - where I’d be rn”.
Sorry for the rant, but long story short, if you’re young and have a passion - pursue it with everything you got. Don’t have any regrets in life, regrets are the biggest burdens we can ever carry.

If you pause at 00:55, you can see that both Yoyo and One belongs to Aether. Knowing a little about the history of Cier, the attackers is probably The Blackwatches, who is in rival with Aether City, and knowing this, I'm pretty certain One and Yoyo is seperated in The Great War between Aether and The Blackwatch, therefore the floating city is Aether 2.0. So we can assume One is an Aether citizen held hostage by The Blackwatch, and anger turn him from a loving brother, to a heartless killer.

Bleye02 Productionz Pretty accurate, but from what I've read, it seems as though One is mentally unstable, so it's not entirely that he's a heartless killer. He fights in search of his brother, Yoyo. One has been seen to have an occurring case of PTSD that disables him from being able to properly think since he's used to having blood on his hands. After all, once a killer, always a killer. Nothing can change the fact that blood is on One's hands, and he can't erase it.

I think I'm the most surprised at how you were able to take (a remix of) Nuclear, a song that was used in a triple-A video game trailer, and somehow marry it to visuals that are so much more engaging and emotionally invested than the Metal Gear Solid Fucking Five trailer was with no words, 2d animation, no faces, and a far smaller budget! This honestly is one of the videos I have latched onto the hardest.

There's a whole universe of these guys... it's crazy how fun it is for all of us when Stick Fighter Animators get together on a project that spans several generations and has plot, plot twists, epic fights and you can almost see the improvement of said animators as we grow up. I was 16 years old when I first started on Hyuns Dojo. Now I'm 26 and I started understanding more in depth what loss and suffering truly is and what it takes to sacrifice for the better of others...

I think that One is probably the most powerful character in this universe. He has seemingly no equal in combat and has the most brutal backstory ever.
Actually he has a few weaknesses like for example his blade is coated with an acid to make up for it's lack of sharpness. If the enemy can stop or resist this One is vulnerable. One is also reliant on his weapon because he is not very strong but instead relies on speed
There's Bog, GildedGuy, Umbrella, Yupia, and if you head over to the official list of duelists in the Dojo website, you get Arzon, Lucien, Manon Nova, Noid, S2, Biske, Yullis, and a whole lot more who are capable of getting toe-to-toe with One.

Welp time for a story based on what I watched. One and YoYo, were brothers, living in the land of Cier. Then it all changed when a mysterious force invaded the land, most likely for the material cierium. As the invasion progressed, The brothers were forced to run away to the capital of Cier (just a guess) that could lift up into the air, and evade the threat surging on the ground. Just before it lifted up, One and YoYo, were seperated as YoYo was taken aboard the flying city, but One was left on the surface to be captured by and detained as Prisoner 001. Eventually, One escaped from his captors, and after his escape, would eventually *find or craft* his sword. Driven almost to madness from his time in prison, one went on to murder many of the invaders. Years later, he would learn that YoYo, after all this time, is *still alive* and went on to embark on a journey. During his journey, he would still have flashbacks of Cier, and occasionally, would mistake other fighters, for the invaders of Cier, and went on to kill them. At the end, One finds YoYo, and the story, ends there (I'm done. Wait for more on One to find out more.)
P.S - This is the story I was thinking about. If You have any problems, that's your problem. Not mine.
I also saw some very fast scenes, so to change the story a little bit, One, imprisoned, hired a blacksmith to forge a sword, but just as it was completed, the captors killed the blacksmith, and that's when One snapped or went mad, and killed many of the captors.
DoorwayToNowhere Animations Yeah, I had to pause and get that. But I think those Innocents or people who he mistook as captors were evil as well. Just my thought, hopefully Hyun adds a sequel to this sequel
DoorwayToNowhere Animations I think the BeardMan, or beard blacksmith was his friend. He smiled with him, and maybe when they killed his only friend he went insane.
Your story sounds awesome! Though there are some clarifications if you wanted to know:
- Judging from the cogwheels on the boats, the mysterious force is from Blackwatch, which is also a part of the land of Cier. In fact, Aether and Blackwatch were in an alliance of sorts through trading.
- The city that lifts off the ground is Aether 2.0. You can see the previous city name "Aether" on the building at 0:55.
There is a link in the video description with information about Cier that you might find interesting.
