13:12 This question can be done using integration by parts as well, but this needs H2 Math content. More details coming up in WONJON's H2 Mathematics A Level Guide.
Wow I solved the quadratic problem... I actually can't believe it - I definitely would have failed if put on the spot though. It's been 15 years since I have done college maths, and I'm still waiting for someone to ask me maths randomly on the street, so these participants are quite "lucky".
for the qn at 15:40, I solved it by doing a binomial distrubtion, number of trials, n = 6, P(success)=0.5 then just 6C2*(1/2)^2*(1/2)^4 not sure if this works but i feel like its the same thing???? LOL
Hi I really love maths and love this video. My only problem is that I don’t really see the use of using u substitution here when you can just see that 1/2 e^(x^2) is a primitive of the function no ? U substituon does of course lead to the same answer but I feel like it’s a shame when you have an integral of f’(phi(x)) * phi ‘ (x) to not just see that a primitive is f(phi(x)). Let me know what you think EDIT: oh ok you talk about this just after 😂😂 . Nice bro you seem really good at maths, what studies have you done ?
yep you are right! thats the method of integration by observation, but i decided to explain it in a method that O level A Math students can understand! i did abit of maths in university :) but im not very good i just like explaining things
i wanted to keep the content of the video up till O level A-Math so that more viewers could relate! i thought about proof questions but I decided against it because I wanted to explain each question within less than 1min
I forgot you’re not actually an axolotl but a human being
wonjon comes in many forms 😼😼
Including a kaiju right?
Maybe
happy new year wonjon !!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!! :D

At first I thought lambert-W 😂
For the second qn, u can also use Tn = 2n - 1
things to watch while waiting for countdown :D
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

@@teja9503 thats great! i didnt think of it as a binomial distrubution :) thanks for pointing it out
Oh happy new year, Wonjon (just realised I'm one day late)
HAPPY NEW YEAR!! :D

I saw the hard question on the thumbnail and solved it correctly in my head! :D
@imjustudying WOWOWWW thats insane
same, but the other ones i couldnt
6th can i get a pin?
Hard question wasn't even a level f math???
Also like including proof based question would be nice
