@@thealchemistking4063 instead of going from 100 average base damage pre-moonlord to 500 or 1000 base damage post-moonlord, the damage increase for each tier is more close to the next tier as opposed to before where the jumps in damage were giant and unnecessary

She was always a human witch. It's just storytelling in-game as a human form boss would've been difficult a while ago. Now they figured it out, they made her like how her art depicts her.
Malice is mode of type "adding salt to wounds" kind. You still have Death as hardest mode but Malice adds some stat buffs to bosses (but mostly revolves them hitting even harder like truck and having their stuff faster). Not to mention being simply more aggresive.

I recently did calamity on revengence mode after watching people play calamity for a while and play vanilla for many years i wasnt expecting the boss to be too challenging but oh my god this boss is so difficult on just revengence it took me 18 attempts just to get past the first hearts faze due to the high damage of each attack and projectile, i seriously respect anyone who can beat her while taking minimal hits theres soo much going on at once its incredibly difficult
Damn, I'm super excited to eventually reach this boss in a super modded playthrough I'm doing. It definitely looks a lot easier than the calamitas of the past but I have a feeling that's because it won't be long before calamitas isn't the final boss anymore. Just sayin

I beated her today for the first time on Revengeance difficulty, without any tweaks, such as increasing the quality of lighting and disabling frame drop in order to slow down the game (simply because my PC was too powerful for it :D). It was my first my EVER, when I defeated her in the fairest way.
I'll be honest, I wish that they kept the old Sprite and just said it was some kind of battle armor or something Having them be just some gray colored NPC just doesn't sell it well
Nah, I think the fact that she's actually humanoid makes the Calamitas clone feel more off. Like an actual doppelganger gone so horribly wrong this is the only shape it could retain.
I think supreme calamities should be buffed not to much but decently buffed .It feels like the exo mechs have replaced s-cal as the final boss but I feel s-cal is a better final boss and more fitting.
Yeah. And it allows access to two new systems. Enchantments and exhuming. Enchantments are basically stuff that change your weapons with new features (not simply reforges) and exhuming which lets you upgrade a few weapons into much stronger, but also more dangerous weapons, and you will get damaged by those if you aren't careful.
kinda sad that old ark of the cosmos is gone, i kinda prefer the old fashioned weapons which just rain projectiles onto your opponent rather than all the fancy stuff we have now

Yes, there were some balancing changes; mostly, late-game bosses and weapons have had their health and damage reduced respectively
i believe the progression of weapon damage was decreased, therefore the hp of bosses was also decreased to compensate.
