    Such an interesting topic. As a clinician, I agree that it can be helpful as a "self-help" tool, providing tools and skills and teaching. However, as I'm working through this, something I see it cannot do is have a lack of emotional connection, or the inability to provide that co-regulation ability with that felt sense in the room. Also, as an EMDR therapist working with trauma, there is something powerful with our presence, our safe, connected, attuned presence, that when we are there with our clients as they are processing traumatic events there is a felt shift, a felt difference. It will be interesting to see how AI shifts and moves with time.

      I'm getting a MSW to eventually get an LCSW and then start a teletherapy private practice, since I want to become a digital nomad. I take it the advantage of working with somebody like me is that I could video chat with clients?
