Great choice of stone too. Labradorite is always one of my favorites. Shalom and keep it up! More videos like this might help me finally make some stuff
Cute and quick! Lovely result. Thank you!
Beautiful Lindsey🌺
Nice, the only thing I've learned would be that, well from watching others tutorials, I would flatten the end you started with.
Very cool
Beautiful! These would be awesome wit a Peacock Eye in the center! Peace and Grace in Jesus name would has come in the flesh.
Fantastic! Thank you ❤️ I shared on a free tutorial group hopefully you get lots of views 😁
Thank you so much!
Very nice video. Can you use round wire for this
You can, but it may be a little slippy-slidey. The square lays flat on the cab so it makes it easier to grip it around the stone. Just go slow and it should work out for ya!
Sorry I'm clueless here, but what if you do not oxidize and polish? I feel like they are already great before that step. Does it seal or something?
Putting a patina on is totally personal preference. I prefer the look of the oxidized copper, and I also wanted these to match the pre made oxidized earring wires. You can definitely leave them without a patina, although if they're bare copper, they'll oxidize naturally on their own over time. :)
Would it work with round wire? I love the tutorial, great for beginners like me. 🤩
It can work, but it's more challenging to do because round wire slips off the stone a lot.
How do you make sure the wire doesn’t come apart later? In the other tutorials of yours that I’ve been watching you always wrap the thick wire with thinner wire. Why does this work without that? Thank you very much!
The wire is "work hardened" as it's wrapped around the stones. It's also covering enough of the stone to keep it secure.
@@cleftoftherockcreations4289 Thanks! I didn't realize that just wrapping the wire would harden it enough to not come apart - that's really cool!
