Wow, you beat me up on Ryobi tools 😃. I have one of these on the “buy list” when my cheap Parkside fails. My Parkside rotary tool is a bit wobbly on slow speeds but works fine on high speed. I don’t know if I grabbed a faulty one or not but for now it is working ok for my needs. That Ryobi seems to be precise on low speed too. My neighbour has a Dremel and it is spot on but cost him 4 times the price I paid for my Parkside.
Cant remember the brand of my 1st one but it didn't last very long. Im really happy with this 1 so far though. Also I'm uploading a new video now with my full ryobi collection so keep an eye out for that coming later 👍
Looks a great rotary tool system, but unless my fairly new Dremel kit gives up the ghost, or SWMBO demands to be sole custodian, I cannot see me adding this to my collection... Yet... 🤔
Great video! I had a look but cant find the answer to this...is there any kind of attachment like there is for the Dremmel to make a kind of drill press with this?
I currently have an ageing cordless dremel and I'm toying with either replacing the battery in that or buying one of these. Any idea how the two compare?
I couldn't say mate. I always use a 5ah battery and I've never used it more than 30 minutes in 1 go so it's never had chance to run the battery out whilst using it
How has this survived after two years ownership and can you give an idea of frequency of use and for what purpose over that time please?
I was able to restore and re-sculpt a cracked victorian plaster ceiling with this tool, it's quite good.
Bet that was a interesting job👍

Cheers pal 👍. To be honest mate I've not seen anything like that but it might not be too difficult make something that will do the same job 🤷♂️
My flex shaft rounded of where it connects to the motor after one year. I need to figure out a fix since I use it often
Thanks

I've never actually had a dremel so I couldn't compare it to 1 but it does work well and I'm very happy with it for the jobs I use it for👍
Battery life.... roughly?

Where did you get the wall mount ryobi tool holder?
Hi. The ryobi cupboard is 1 of my creations that I designed and built. It was a good excuse to buy more ryobi tools so that I could make it😂👍
