- There is Now a NEW Worst Trade in NFL History!
#NFL #nflfootball #eagles
In 2022, the Tennessee Titans decided not to pay AJ Brown $25 million annually and traded him to the Philadelphia Eagles for the 18th overall pick, which they used to draft Treylon Burks. The idea was to replace Brown’s production with a cheaper, first-round wide receiver, similar to how the Vikings replaced Stefon Diggs with Justin Jefferson. But unlike Jefferson, Burks hasn’t lived up to expectations, while AJ Brown has become an All-Pro on a team-friendly contract. Even DeAndre Hopkins has expressed doubts about Burks, saying "nein" when asked if we're sleeping on him.
I cant believe you actually said this. The Ricky Williams, Hershall Walker, Russel Wilson, and Deshaun Watson trades are all worse than this.
He says this about every trade that happens it’s mad corny.
Eagles fan. Herschel was a WAY better player than Ricky. It was the front offices of the Saints and Vikings that screwed up.
This is an entertainment RUclips channel. This is not hard-hitting journalism.
Another is trey Lance trade LMAO
Let’s be real, Deshaun Watson will never get to his Texans glory as long as he’s in Cleveland.
No weapons, bad offensive line and terrible GM/ coaching. I don’t think Deshaun is as bad of a player as some say.
Off field issues I choose not to talk about, but sitting out a year or two definately hurt his ability to run and gun, and be a dual threat like he was in Houston.
Paying him tremendous money made him no longer care about working hard or earning his salary, since it’s all guaranteed. I truly think he will develop into a decent QB for Cleveland once he settles down into his role.
The Herschel Walker trade is the epitome of throwing away your future for one good season, and the Vikings didn’t even get the one good season from Herschel.
Ah yes, the conveniant cuts in the interview. 😂😂
This guy is a dumb bastard for sure like wtf is this 😂
That is what I was thinking
Dude what are you talking about? This was a bad trade but not the worst ever. Not even close. Bears/Panthers trade, the Russel Wilson trade or the Deshaun Watson trades are WAY worse
"Now a new worst trade" please listen to what he said before typing😂😂
@@tbdivide8146he called it the new worst trade in nfl history implying that it was worse than all the trades that guy mentioned
@@tbdivide8146what are you yapping about blud
@@tbdivide8146ur dumb
@@tbdivide8146 Bro read the title
I remember microphone made a video saying AJ Brown will get traded at some point in his career with the eagles then the Eagles paid him and he took down the video 😂
I remember that video! He said he would get traded in the next 2 years. I Didnt know he deleted the video tho
@@dom.2o3 well I could not find it at all anywhere
It still can happen even if he got a new contract unless his contract has a no trade clause in it
@@DrRawBalls_TheDummy true
Howie Roseman isn't stupid enough to trade AJ
The Minnesota Vikings traded an entire draft for Herschel Walker… the Cowboys used one of those picks on Emmitt Smith.
The herschell walker trade is still the worst and it isn't close, except for maybe deshaun watson.
Ricky Williams trade too
What about the trade for Bill Belichick
@@diehardeaglesfansince1994 great point dude that was a horrible idea for the jets. But to be fair, I’m not sure Bill wins more than 1-2 rings without Tom.
@@jpgiii85 when it comes to the outcome of the trade it's obviously the Herschel Walker trade but when it comes to just straight up draft Equity I would have to say it was the Ricky Williams trade
@@diehardeaglesfansince1994 Correct me if I’m wrong but the Jets got Shaun Ellis. He made 2 pro bowls in his 10 year Jets career. How is that in contention for the worst trade ever.
People wonder why they have never won a Super Bowl
Jesus loves everyone
I know after this happend I knew it was a mistake from the beginning
He was my favorite player especially on what he did to Baltimore in his sophomore year
Can't be talking yall haven't one a superbowl either🤫
Well, they don't have Kc Chref Ref help either 🤷♂️
Lol at how you conveniently edited that clip of D-Hop to make it sound like he was bashing Burks.
Oh is that what happened? I was gonna say, I don't know Dhop to be like that
I hate when we make a player player out to be trash when he just might be on a bad team
Sad that Eagles are linked to both of those trades because Jefferson would be an Eagle if Howie had any idea what he was doing when drafting receivers. Good thing for us he is solid every other category 😂
My draft day disappointment that year because I KNEW that the eagles were going to draft JJettas
If Jefferson became an eagle then aj never comes here and smitty would be a giant. Look how things worked out
eagles now have smith and AJ for about 10 million more than what JJ makes
@@JB-423 I am glad he knows how to get a receiver and Smitty was a great pick so we as fans can say FINALLY he got us one 😭🤣
@@kingslayer2152 could be like it was in early 2000s with james thrash and todd pinkston LOL
Bro Burks has barely got a shot to play cause of his injury’s as a titans fan I’m giving him one more year and then giving up on him
im a titans fan too but bro has had multiple injuries and is always hurt. i been moved on from him
I feel you as an Eagles fan this just feels like a Jalen Reagor situation. The talent is there but something is off upstairs. A shame because I still don’t understand why Christian Watson wasn’t the pick, that’s many of us Eagles fans were screaming for with that pick before we traded it for AJ.
You can keep wishing he will never be Aj Brown 💯
Think we just need to cut him and move on from all jon Robinson’s mistakes so we can start fresh. Rob set us back years with his terrible drafting
Russell Wilson, Deshaun Watson, Ricky Williams, & Herschel Walker trades were all worse
Cowboys got 3 first round picks, 3 second round picks, a third round pick and 4 other players for Hershel Walker.
Aw man!!!! Treylon *MUST'VE* been THAT bad for his own teammate (Dhop) to throw him under the bus in the media 😂
he altered the interview to make it seem as if he was bashing him
Very very far away from the worst trade in NFL history. That very likely goes to the trade for Ricky Williams in 99'. 2 1st, a 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th for Williams.
Tbf hindsight pot shouldn't be a problem. And Ricky was an absolute STUD and still was pretty damn solid even 8 years later. 8 years without ball and he still cranked out 4.3 yards a carry
D hop say Nein that’s no I’m German is crazy work😂😂😂😂😂
It was definitely a huge mess up on the Titans part, but it is going to be really hard to top that Denver Russell Wilson trade
@paulrizzolo8526 It wasn’t the trade that was worse it was the contract extension when they didn’t need to do one now they have like 80 to 100 million dead cap hit which is like 40 to 50 million over the next 2 season
As a cowboys fan I don’t know why but when I watch AJ Brown play he reminds me of Dez Bryant with his bigger physique & hard to take down/strength
Nah. Our mistake in trading for Trey Lance was the worst.
Nah dude. The Russell Wilson trade for Denver was the worst trade I've ever seen.
The worst trade of all time was the trade of Hershel Walker to Minnesota.. which picks they got for that gave them the players to run for several super bowls..
Jesus loves you
Sir this is a Wendy’s
And I love comments that have something to do with the video
Then why do y'all hate me?
Bro I got drafted by the titans and TB was catching everything thrown to him. Absolute stud in the game
His teammate said he’s not sleeping on Burks. Probably meaning he knows how good he is.
I think Tennessee forgot that they SUCK at drafting WR’s.
This is outdated
YOU KNOW WHAT I HATE IS A BROTHER IN THE NFL INSULTS ANOTHER BROTHER 😢
This lame cut parts to make drama cuz he a lil girl with a receding hairline
DeAndre Hopkins chose violence
This trade will never be worse than Hopkins to the cardinals
I'm an eagles fan and imma be honest. Trading AJ Brown made sense for a franchise that's not 1 player away, it just didn't help that they signed DeAndre and drafted a bust.
Hopkins didn’t say anything bad ab Burks. He said we’re not sleeping on him
“Was I sleeping on treylons potential, Nein” is wild
Lmao. Hello from Nashville. I love the Eagles and am also a huge Eagles fan. I laughed when the Titans traded to the Eagles!
The worse trade in NFL history is what the 49ers gave up for Trey Lance or what Denver gave up for Russel Wilson.
Nah. That Carolina-Chicago trade will never be beat 🤣
And he is going to go down as one of the best WRs in Eagles history! Thank you Titans
Hopefully will go down as *THE* best WR... hopefully.
No trade in any sport will ever be worse than the Herschel Walker trade
Dude the panthers trade for the #1 overall pick IS the worst trade in history.
Now theyre paying ridley more than what brown asked for 😂
No better way to develop your young reciever as an organization than to absolutely shatter his confidence. Hope the young man finds it again possibly with a new team
Outside of the top 15 picks, the 2022 NFL Draft was one of the worst I’ve seen in a while…
As an Eagles fan, this is actually one of the best trades ever
Yes sir 🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🙏🏽✊🏽💪🏽
Yeah for the eagles not the titans 😂
Never trust a pretty boy wide receiver. Dudes always end up caring more about the fame than the game
As an 🦅 fan, I remember doing Chris Brown dance moves 🕺 after this trade happened
I know the Titans are sick knowing that guys like Christian Watson, Pickens, and Shakir were all still available when they drafted Burks, Burks just might have to start somewhere else because he’s buried on that team behind D-Hop, Ridley, and Boyd
The football gods do not reward hubris. When you get tour guy, and he earns his contract, keep him.
That's what the most team they overthink drafting especially on the cheap
Please see DeAndre Hopkins trade for actual worst trade
What are you on? The panthers-bears was way worse
What they do?
They traded 2 1st rd picks, 2 2nd rd picks, and their top 10 wr for bryce young. 2 first rds turned into a great o-linemen and #1 overall pick caleb williams. One of the 2nd rd picks was traded for keenan allen, and the other will be used in 2025.
All in all, panthers got: bryce young (potential bust qb), bears got: caleb williams, dj moore, keenan allen, good o-linemen, and 2nd rd pick
@@GrantHendry-pl1evThe Deshaun Watson deal will go down as an even worse deal. Cleveland gave up multiple draft picks AND over $200mil GUARANTEED.
@@WilliamRivers-c7e but they still got a mid qb and their in playoff contention now. The panthers have so far gotten an ass qb, the worst record in the nfl, and no playoff hopes for at least 3 years
@@GrantHendry-pl1evand the worst fuckin owner in the league 🤣 what a complete asshole that knows shit about football
They did AJ a favor!💯
This is so out of context. DeAndre Hopkins meant that Burks is good. And people shouldn't sleep on him
Titans also left enough cap space to go get Sneed, pollard, Tyler Boyd, Calvin Ridley, cusenberry, SJD, & Auwzie
Oh how quickly folks forget that bag of chips Bill OBrien got for Dhop
Nothing can be worse than the bryce young trade.
T. Burks#16 Draft Day photo could be an interesting meme, if those Razorback groupies are still around.
Young pups have never HEARD of the Herschel Walker trade
The denver trade with seattle to get russle wilson is way worse of a trade
Man, you just hate the Titans, don’t you?
The worst trade in nfl history will forever be hershel walker for 3 cowboys super bowls
Thank you Titans.
A yes a year annually. I hear that daily everyday.
Man thought he could use the song from the social network and get away with it
Soooo, you’ve NEVER heard of Russel Wilson?
Instead of one more season of AJ Brown and letting him go in FA, they had a shot with a mid first round pick. Hasn’t gone well. Far from “worst trade” status
Bro is capping, Vikings drafted JJ before they got rid of Diggs!
Worst no but definately a top 5 in the last 5-10 years up there with trading away deandre hopkins, trading for russel wilson, trading for deshaun watson, and trading up for what became bryce young but the jury is still out we may determine that one after this year
From the outside looking in it is a horrible trade but when you realize we didn’t have the money to get him so got something out of him instead of letting him walk in free agency it don’t look as bad then
Nothing worse than what the 9ners gave up for trey lance
As a titans fan I can confirm this as very true
The Titans had something going on up to this point. This idiotic trade single-handedly scuttled the entire franchise. It has been nothing but misery since.
That's got nothing on the Hershel Walker trade...
Nah, Watson trade still the worse. Made the Cleveland Browns a playoff team to dead last in the division every year after. And made it the sole example on why fully guarantee contracts will never be a thing
Burks has been injured and underperformed and it was a poor trade in hindsight. The Russell Wilson trade was terrible at the time it was made, and then was compounded by the idiotic extension he was immediately given
Dhop trade is marginally worse
They could've had a bowl already had they just fixed the qb room instead of every other piece theve had solid def etc but never a qb since mcnair
Worst traits for the Titans but as an Eagles fan it was the best trade ever
If Ravens were smart they would Trade Nelson Aglor and next year's first or second pick for AJ Brown because Lamar with AJ, Flower's, Andrew's and Henry pshh would give defenses nightmares lol.
And we thank the Titans every Sunday 🙏😂
Well, this isn’t a bad trade. It’s a bad draft pick. Getting the 18th pick for brown was pretty decent. Trade good. Using it on Burks… bad draft.
Really. Wilson to the Broncos for the haul they paid for is still the worst trade in history.
Minnesota trading for Walker is equally as bad.
I’m convinced AJ Brown dad is Antonio Brown. They look dead alike
Worst trade in nfl history is 49ers trading 3 1st round picks for trey lance. If they just use those 3 1st on other positions and draft prudy in last pick of draft they are beyond a super team.
Just call this the Jon Robinson trade because nobody on the titans wanted to make this trade and lose the best receiver in franchise history just 3 years into his career
Literally the Trey Lance trade still exists bro.
Jamal Adams traded for 2 1st and a 3rd round picks
Sorry y'all... nothing compares to the Walker trade... heck, Walker went back to Dallas and finished his career there
Not even close.nothing will ever come close to topping the walker trade .
As a scout I can tell you Burks was not a 1st rd grade. To stiff and too many drops
It's not a bad trade for us Eagles fans. It was a frigg'in steal!!!👍👍👍
Well he was hurt a lot looking back he stepped it up once he got traded realizing he had to.
As a Arkansas fan this video hurts
How can you say the worst trade when the entire Saints draft for Ricky Williams still exist?
Still cuts deep 😮💨
You know what didn't work for the vikings? The herchel walker trade. I wouldn't say this was anything close buddy
WTF are you on? They didn’t have to pay someone $25 million a year. Burks hasn’t panned out, but he’s paid 1/7 of that. Basic economics goes a long way…
This guy knows nothing about NFL history. If anyone says that there's something worse than the Herschel Walker trade, they are clueless.
How is this trade even remotely xlose to being the worst trade ever? They weren't going to pay him, so instead of losing him for nothing, they traded him and got a draft pick in return. They may have missed on the pick, but at least it was a chance.
Bad trade but nowhere near the worst … Chicago trading up for trubisky when mahomes was there …. New Orleans trading entire draft
No offense Mike, but that wasn’t even the second worst trade THAT year
Honestly Reggie Williams is prolly still the worst trade in history. They gave up every pick in the draft they had that off season for Ricky Williams for him to be out of the league for marijuana. The bears trade with Carolina could go down as one of the worst trades of all time as well. We will find out on that in a couple years bc the bears still have a pick next year from Carolina besides everything they already got from Carolina
