Wouldn't all the other houses basically gang up on the Lannisters? They're like the most hated family in the 7 kingdoms, even Tyrion says "They each other ALMOST as much as they hate us". And with 0 legitimacy, even if Renly died the Tyrells would at best become neutral? Or maybe Margery would agree to marry Stannis lol...🤔
Ned Starks words carry more weight than Stannis. If Ned discovered the truth, and fled like Stannis, Robert would probably have been killed like in the original time line. Ned would call his banners, sent out ravens calling the Lannisters bastards created of incest and declare for Stannis, which might give Renly pause, and the Freys wouldn't have major demands for crossing, maybe a marriage proposal between one of his daughters and Rickon, and having two of his sons become wards. Ned wouldn't have sent Theon back either, and the IronBorn might still attack the North, but Winterfell wouldn't have fallen.
It wouldn't have made much difference, the north and riverlands revolt under Robb, the Vale stays neutral, the Greyjoy's make the deal with Tywin and the Baratheon's do the same thing as the books. The Martel's are waiting to back the Targaryen's and the free cities are too fractured to do anything.
No way at all. Robert was far too proud, he would have challenged Jamie to a one v one and been sliced to tiny pieces. After the fight Ned tries to have them arrested but the lannnistets pay them so he'd have been killed along with everyone else who heard this information. Bariston is the only one at court who may actually have neds back and that may have given us the fight i most anticipated in the whole show. Bariston the bold vs Jamie "kingslayer duece" lannister
@TheCriticalAnalysisHub thank you. It would have also been a great way to separate themselves from the books right out of the gate, not to mention immediately laid the groundwork for just how powerful the lannisters were with tywin at the helm very early on. Tywin in the books is even more influential and it's even hinted at that he ruled the realm even in the mad kings reign. The mad king was so threatened by tywin he named his son to the kings guard which is a very good honor, but not something you want for your heir apparent.

That’s a good point. Maybe Sansa would be a bargaining tool? Besides, Renly would fight Stannis because he wanted to be king
Your videos....little bites; the "What If's...." tasty! Subbed!
Thank you

Honestly I hate the freys so much. I was hoping bros house would have been gone by the end of the show
Good video bro, Keep it up
I’ll remember you

Good job
Thanks man
Listening to the audiobooks. I’m on Feast For Crows. All these people died cuz of Cersei’s lie.
Don’t get me started up on Cersei the Dummy 😒 she over here thinking she so smart but she’s an airhead at best
I’m reading the books and am about 2/3 through A Dance with Dragons.
It’s a great book for sure
Why was Cersei the first to know that Ned knew the truth?
Ned Stark straight up told her. Dude was honorable but a dummy

Love this take man
I think Ned might have escaped and called his banners to support Stannis' claim perhaps. I mean he is being a little smarter...
What the sigma
What do you think would have happened if Ned Stark told the realm?
Please rewrite the last season of game of thrones
I’ll make a note on that
