    You should do a video about your brand. How it started where did the name come from, like a story about tiltlife. Also i really like this series keep doing these videos. ps. Scout is the best t bar in the whole world.

    Today I learned that the different shapes of bars aren't just for looks , but for the strength as well. You guys always make quality parts and I love that you inform your community about all parts you make, the way you make them, and talk about upcoming parts for the rider to enjoy.

    Maybe an episode about forks, particularly the practical aspects of their design (also interested in the reason zero offset scooter forks seem to be less popular). Also definitely wanna see a tour of the van/explanation of the restoration!

    I love the fact everything is hand made and has so much effort put into everything and the warehouse looks so homey nothing like some business tryna make money, it’s all rider owned and the parts are so good and that’s why I back tilt 100%

    • @TiltScooters
      @TiltScooters  6 лет назад

      Thanks for the love! We don't really consider everything to be hand made, but we sure try our best to get high quality products out. Glad you're stoked on the warehouse! It's a sick place to be.

      Definitely some of the best quality parts my sentrys hat last around 1 year and have had a crack for about a month but still haven’t snapped on me and I throw my scooter a fair but usually making my other bats last 4 months max

    I would like to learn how does the bond guard wheels tech works and why is it the best wheel that you makes? And also I really enjoy learning about a brand that I support a lot and who wants to push scootering to the top! I remember purchasing my first Tilt part on dissidence during the Paris street jam V3 probably. It was a set of chromo pegs in purple it was sent in a simple plastic bag with a piece of paper and now look how far you are from this ! I’m really proud of you and what you did to our sports! Thanks Tilt

    I would love to see the whole range of tilt wheels, since a lot of shops don’t carry them all : )

    Make a video on why having filming trips is just a big part of tilt for video parts and really just having a good time and bonding. Also just how you have seen scooter riding progress what you like and what you don't really like, Or maybe the ups and downs of owning your own company like what tilt really means to you and the sport as a whole, also i am really enjoying these keep it up!!!

    • @TiltScooters
      @TiltScooters  6 лет назад

      Thanks! The idea is that aluminum is one of the most recyclable materials on our planet. We don't actually do the recycling ourselves, but so much aluminum that we use has already been recycled. Hope that makes sense!

    Please talk about your wheels!
    Batch 1&2
    Why the wait between the batches was so long. Also why you made the urethane overlap the core (I think you call it bond guard) huge shoutout to Colin for showing the community behind the scenes of what goes on at tilt

    id love to learn about how you draw the designs and agree on a finished product before actually sending them out through america and else where also if you ever had any problems with a team rider or co worker coming up with bar designs. how do you come to the conclusion that this kind of bar style is what you want and what you think everyone else will like as well. also a complete process on how it is digitized on the computer would be pretty rad please note that this video has taught me a lot about you guys in such a short amount of time so it was very dope to see you guys doing something like this keep at it homies!!!

    Everyone at tilt is awesome :) would love to see you guys go through painting parts or designs. Loving the coastal at moment. Also wondering if you'd do something like district wheels where they made the wheel 24mm in centre and 28mm at urethane. I think they work with all forks. Hoping for 115mm wheels though as i feel that they'd be the perfect size.

    • @TiltScooters

      You're welcome :) I'd love to see 115mm wheels becoming the norm as when they wear down they will be around 110mm in size. Also it'd be nice to just have wheels a little bigger in general. I feel 120-125 is a bit too big. I've never ridden wider wheels but I think what Eagle is doing is right with their RADIX. Love Tilt and will always support.

    Your wheel, like the bond the urethane has to the core and why you picked that design and why you believe its the best? Bearings too.

    i learned that you oilquench the bars to make them strong and the. het treat them to make them flex a little

  • @todralindquist7147
    @todralindquist7147 6 лет назад +1

    Bro i didn't know how complex your heat treating process was, i always thought that you would just heat them up then let them cool. I also learnt how the simple shape of the Hybrid Bar adds so much strength by spreading stress though out the cross member. Your attention to detail is awesome! just another reason why i love you guys.
    it would be awesome if you did another video but on your wheels. i currently ride a pair of old proto's that are really worn and i am thinking of buying a pair of tilt wheels. i would love to know how much attention you put in and the process of which you make your wheels!
    instar @Long_Lanky_Lout Hybrid bar!

    you should talk about how Tilt Transport went like the troubles u ran into and cool spots u guys found. my fav bars are sentry

    • @TiltScooters
      @TiltScooters  6 лет назад

      Haha, that'd be nuts! The guys had a short interview on The Vault's channel that touched on some of that. Also the TILTLIFE articles on our website have all the stories - www.tiltlife.com. We're moving on to new trips, so you probably won't see a video on that.

    With the hybrid bars how did you figure out the dip angle you wanted to use and next time you should talk about how you bend he bars back after the heat treating

    • @TiltScooters
      @TiltScooters  6 лет назад

      We tested over 40 different shapes using different angles and radii. We combined the data and drew a curve to find the absolute strongest shape. Hope that makes sense and answers your question!

  • @swept180sxnet4
    @swept180sxnet4 6 лет назад

    I didn't know that curves would actually help the strength of the bar. That was pretty cool to me.

    • @TiltScooters
      @TiltScooters  6 лет назад

      Awesome - Glad you learned something. It's pretty crazy that curves can make a handlebar stronger.

    • @TiltScooters
      @TiltScooters  6 лет назад

      Hey man! We'll try to talk about grips in the future. They come out this fall. We donate most of our old grips to a local shop actually so we don't have any of those :)

    maybe a start to finish, idea to product, walk through of the making of Tilt parts? either a specific one or the more general process?

    • @TiltScooters
      @TiltScooters  6 лет назад +1

      We're still practicing the process ourselves :) It'd be awesome to record the development of a product. We'll look into doing that. It'd be super sick!
