Legendary campaign is an experience everyone should try it's so fun and challenging. I got destroyed so many times but it was worth it. I really hope Lightfall also has a legendary campaign which is most likely gonna happen.
Nah. I leveled up faster doing everything else. Story was 8 missions of actual fighting and 11 steps of stupid shit. I guess when you have a content drought this would seem fun. Capping your hard earned light and flooding you with enemy’s isn’t what you call fun. I liked the puzzles tho.
It was super fun. Breaded Debbie downer saying that flooding you with enemies isn't what he calls fun is out of it. Last I checked that's pretty much what destiny is killing shit for fun. I don't know what he is looking for but apparently it is not this game. Hope they keep it up with great stuff like this in the future!

I had the entire Legendary Campaign finished solo by Saturday, By far the best campaign i have ever played in the history of destiny. P.S. Sagira is not dead i have her ghost shell floating along side me in game, I got it in season 2 :)

That moment, right before the final fight with savathun, where cross jumps into the water for the loot and then dies 😂😁🤣 I DID THE SAME THING!!! I feel it! 🤣🤣🤣
Same!!! What made me laugh the most was I jumped at the loot in the water, while Ghost was giving a super serious "talking to" toward Savathun 😅 Completely messing up Ghost's moment.
By far the best Destiny campaign, the story was perfect, the encounters were difficult but not to the point of wanting to quit, and the post game content, especially the Parasite questline was fantastic (the sass when Ghost says "uh huh" to Mara when she's saying her contingency plans are for our safety was the best part)
LMAO Thats in the strike I think which is worth replaying just to hear his sass and disbelief of Mara alone. I was cackling when he dropped the "Uh huh, suuurrreeee"
I love how Bungie did the scaling for fireteams for the Legendary campaign, it makes it so that three of you can't easily breeze through it, but as far as I've done, it's actually MORE difficult doing it in a team of three, which takes the challenge and fun to a whole new level
That's how it seemed to me too, I beat it solo but, tried to use LFG for help during the final boss (after dying like 13 times throughout the chapter) and honestly it was way harder with 2 rando's than it was solo so, when we wiped I parted ways with them and finished it solo

Fun fact Cross: Rorschach (pronounced "roar-shock" or "roar-shack", yes it's tough!) is the name of the psychologist who created the Inkblot tests, in which participants would look at indistinct smudges of ink in order to try and discern something from them, like an animal or object for example. So the emblem is probably named as such because of all the mysteries involved in Savathun's character as well as the plot, and how we are trying to interpret them since the nature of the inkblot test is to solve essentially impossible mysteries.
Oooh I love that veteran dialog at the end with our ghost saying he remembers Crota and Oryx. Makes me sad I switched platforms and I wish there was a way to get that carried over.
I had to work but I did some one night and finished it the next. Just finished the rest of the campaigns on my other characters too. By far, soloing the campaigns on legends is the most fun I've had in D2 in years.
Solo legendary was extremely challenging but never really felt unfair. There were plenty of places I got stuck at and had to think of different approaches and strategies to the situation. Very refreshing compared to the usual “let me steamroll these 8 new missions so I can get back to grinding gear.” So glad Bungie decided to do it, the future of the game is looking very bright.
I got my cheeks clapped quite by savathun a few times doing the legendary campaign solo, especially the second part. I died 37 times before finally clearing the last section
I died 48 time due to that scorn boss with the flail( idfc about spelling) I had to rebuild in to an entirely invisi hunter build to beat it the first time.
Glad to see I wasn't the only one getting my ass kicked lol. I really enjoyed finishing the campaign solo on legendary. Most enjoyable campaign in years, maybe ever.
Heart of Inmost Light is still my favorite titan exotic I ran Witherhoard, adept Palindrome and a crafted red herring almost the entire campaign besides when I was trying the enigma and a couple of those scorn missions trinity ghoul really did the trick.
I'm stuck on last mission/last boss, what weapons did u use? I'm using poison bow, red herring rocket launcher and extraordinary rendition with contraverse hold on void warlock.
@@Daniel-zm1wt Random fire legendary for wizards, I used some red border pistol, with a Tarantula and in my case Izanagi for DPS phase. There's tons of green ammo so a nice sniper works well. I was on a melee stasis hunter with cowl. Build didn't help too much due to multiplayer HP bloat but the cowls invis + healing on finishers worked wonders.
For those that don’t wanna try legendary due to the fear that’s gonna be too hard let me tell you that if my fireteam that hadn’t play since forsaken and had no meta exotics or meta legendary weapons ( me been the exception but still had no ghorn) and have no idea of how to use mods made it! Then you can do it! It took us a few days but we persisted and succeeded!! Don’t be discouraged!
I did the Legendary campaign solo too, I'm not so sure it isn't harder with multiple people though. the enemies are drastically buffed with 2 more players
@@ChiodosBlowsDogs what i read is they scale enemy health with player count, but, i feel like the ability to res at all... even on a timer gives 2+ players a little bit of a buffer. also i never had problems doing enough damage to any of the bosses it was the invincible rotations that i kept having an unexpected 1 hit from someone that snuck up behind me. What it did for me is made me aware of all the mechanics and where the adds spawn for every damage phase. Brutiks Lightbane was a hard battle but fun.... However, the next cabal mission, right before you get on the pyramid ship was just tedious for no reason. The 2 tanks were just a dick move not a clever mechanic.
The solo vs 3 team fireteam legendary difficulty discussion is an interesting one to have hit man the feeling me and by 2 friends had after beating EACH encounter felt ridiculously satisfying. The scaling to 3 man fireteams is def on full show here and heightens the gameplay experience imo. The stakes felt real and communicating with my teammates and working together just felt like it was all on the line

Legendary campaign is that story, of Guardians being outnumbered a hundred to one, surrounded deep in enemy territory, a mission that can only be described as one in a million
A funny yet cool thing about the campaigns is that each difficulty has differences. Each one has different enemies in certain encounters per campaign and different dialogue.
I beat LC all three times. It was quite the experience. I thoroughly enjoyed the challenges yelling “DUDE OMFG” every ten minutes 😂😂 definitely the best story destiny has ever had. Hopefully they keep it up!

So glad I could pull out my Ikelos with vorpal or surrounded again, that thing carried me through this legendary campaign twice, not to mention Succesion with recombination, Gjallarhorn is just thw cherry on top

Not sure if the info was dropped, but never know what info might help people sometimes.
The Sentinel Knights were the true final boss of the campaign with those shield throws 😂 I got goosebumps all over again seeing that cutscene where the Witness lies to Sathona
I did the campaign on Legendary and just finished it last night. I started out on Void but it pissed me off so I switched back to Stasis lol did the entire campaign on Stasis. I treated it like a solo dungeon run and died maybe 10 times during the final Savathün battle. It was a great campaign
I solo'd flawless the whole legendary campaign first time out. I have never done anything like this before. It was the greatest experience I have ever had in a game. I totally immersed myself in it. I took my time not knowing anything about the mechanics and figured it out as I went along. The Ritual took me 3 hours but I didn't die once. I used blinding nades, the new energy scout with adaptive rounds on shields and Gallahorn. Combine this with one of the greatest campaigns ever made it was a magical experience. Stand out mission for me was The Communion... that last room I had like 30 Cabal all shooting at me in the corner with that awesome music playing you felt like you were there. Bungie have set the bar for the next expansion all the way to the atmosphere...
I'm glad everyone agrees this is the best campaign in destiny history. Many of us were blinded by Taken King nostalgia, but this campaign opened our eyes. This sets the bar really really high and I hope Bungie keeps going higher
I still can't believe we straight up Doom Eternal'd ourselves, we even did it to the same planet. He shot a hole into Mars, and we shot ourselves at Savathicc.
I completed the legendary campaign solo first day, and it was my first run of the campaign. We were missing two people out of the friend group because of personally reasons so I was left as the solo player. It took me probably around 8-9 hours of playing to actually beat the whole thing but it was really fun, I kinda wish we got a solo legendary emblem though.
I did the entire legendary campaign solo on my Titan in 2 days (finished the 23rd) and first trying the FINAL FINAL boss fight. Overall the legendary campaign was pretty easy for me. But honestly I would say that soloing Grasp of Avarice literally the week before the release of Witch Queen probably prepared me and improved my survivability overall, since the ONLY fight I really had trouble with was the 3 room phase lightbearer wizard boss fight
I started legendary by running with two friends, was quite hard. When I finally ran one mission solo. Significantly easier, still a challenge but I felt like having a team was hurting more than helping
Except for the bugginess in some missions, it's very fun with others. And its actually easier to do it solo. The more you have on your Fireteam, the harder it becomes.
The only mission of the Legendary Campaign I couldn’t solo was that last fight on The Ritual. That shit was TOUGH and it took 7 different LFG teams before I could finish.

Stand out mission for me was The Communion... that last room I had like 30 Cabal all shooting at me in the corner with that awesome music playing you felt like you were there. Bungie have set the bar for the next expansion all the way to the atmosphere...

Solo legendary was an awesome challenge, felt super accomplished when I beat it.
Deadass that first puzzle got my team head scratching for a bit until we just randomly did it
There were a couple levels I played solo and it was torture. I almost raged at the scorn boss you fight after finding Sigira.

I'm glad everyone agrees this is the best campaign in destiny history. Many of us were blinded by Taken King nostalgia, but this campaign opened our eyes. This sets the bar really really high and I hope Bungie keeps going higher

I still can't believe we straight up Doom Eternal'd ourselves, we even did it to the same planet. He shot a hole into Mars, and we shot ourselves at Savathicc.
I completed the legendary campaign solo first day, and it was my first run of the campaign. We were missing two people out of the friend group because of personally reasons so I was left as the solo player. It took me probably around 8-9 hours of playing to actually beat the whole thing but it was really fun, I kinda wish we got a solo legendary emblem though.

I did the entire legendary campaign solo on my Titan in 2 days (finished the 23rd) and first trying the FINAL FINAL boss fight. Overall the legendary campaign was pretty easy for me.
But honestly I would say that soloing Grasp of Avarice literally the week before the release of Witch Queen probably prepared me and improved my survivability overall, since the ONLY fight I really had trouble with was the 3 room phase lightbearer wizard boss fight
I started legendary by running with two friends, was quite hard. When I finally ran one mission solo. Significantly easier, still a challenge but I felt like having a team was hurting more than helping
Ya the scaling felt way off. I ran the whole thing solo after trying one mission with a team.
Except for the bugginess in some missions, it's very fun with others. And its actually easier to do it solo. The more you have on your Fireteam, the harder it becomes.

The only mission of the Legendary Campaign I couldn’t solo was that last fight on The Ritual. That shit was TOUGH and it took 7 different LFG teams before I could finish.

I did all the missions solo except for the last one that was just insane and there was no way I was doing it alone.
