Songwriters are entitled to publishing royalties and the only way to collect those royalties is to work with any publishing administration companies like Sentric Music Publishing or Songtrust.

Sentric collects your publishing share of the that particular song.
A song has 2 copyrights.
Which is sound recording
And composition
You sound recording royalties would be given to you by distrokid
And compositon would be given to you by Sentric.
You have to also be part of a pro
Like ascap,bmi,prs,socan

No, they didn't. All they're doing is collecting 50% of the money for you, which is your publishing royalties. The other 50% is your songwriter royalties that you get directly from ASCAP or BMI.
