First thing I do after I listen to Dimash singing one of his wonders. Is to listen to the original, and see what changes he has done to the song. Now some painters couldn't do better half model painting like the Monnalisa. So what they did!! They either added a mustache or will do something that didnt make their painting look better than the Monnalisa. While with dimash he makes a Monnalisa of every origional song he sang. If you listen to this song in its original form. You will see how different it is plus that operatic part, Was Ave Maria. That was not even in the original song. For someone who grew listening to Mozart while studying art like painting and sculpting. I get surprised when ppl say oh hes an opera singer or classically trained?! We all who studied art had to learn how to do classic paintings as well as modern and any other school of art out there. Then you try to have your own unique touch. We expect the same thing from singers. And it seems that Dimash is the only one I see today who did it like picasso. Who has mastered all the schools of painting and created his own school of art. Many people recommend the Gakku performance (which is also astonishing and unique) but I prefer the Singer version. The band, the backup vocals....the production quality of that show is just stunning. Additionally, Dimash wrote that song when he was 19 years old so it will show you his composition ability.

Thanks for watching Di !!!!! He is extraordinary, a musical genius. Not only because of his natural talent that has worked a lot in his life, almost all since he studied at age 4. He plays several instruments and sings in several languages, obviously some better than others, but he can also interpret the emotions and that is difficult in other languages. I recommend Sinful passion for everything he does there in technique and interpretation, it is a cover too. But, from Dimash there is a lot, Late Autumn, The Diva Dance, etc ... enjoy like today, The Best singer in the World, for my taste.
You should continue with the performances he did on the contest of the first song you reacted to and you will see a progression. You are cheating yourself but jumping ahead. Sinful Passion would be the next in the competition. You are jumping ahead to most recent. Introduce yourself to Dimash in that contest and get to know him. At the start he hitted G1 and A1(which is extremely low) and his tone sounds like a dark baritone(almost a bass). In the second part of the song he did a lot of very difficult diminuendo using a tenor altino's technique, he also did the last soprano's notes with a perfect 'falsettone'. In the last part of the song he used a very supported and resonant mixed voice sustaining an E5 for 19 seconds. No singer ever existed(male or female) can do this

You're so right! I totally agree. A good singer can sing. But the great singer can tell a story, and the audiences can fell the story he's telling. I don't understand a word he sang (without subtitle), but I can fell it well, and that is beautiful. He's the best singer in lifetime.

Thanks for watching Di !!!!! He is extraordinary, a musical genius. Not only because of his natural talent that has worked a lot in his life, almost all since he studied at age 4. He plays several instruments and sings in several languages, obviously some better than others, but he can also interpret the emotions and that is difficult in other languages. I recommend Sinful passion for everything he does there in technique and interpretation, it is a cover too. But, from Dimash there is a lot, Late Autumn, The Diva Dance, etc ... enjoy like today, The Best singer in the World, for my taste.
You should listen the original version from Alla Pugacheva and Lara Fabian. Dimash color it into another texture of level.

At the start he hitted G1 and A1(which is extremely low) and his tone sounds like a dark baritone(almost a bass). In the second part of the song he did a lot of very difficult diminuendo using a tenor altino's technique, he also did the last soprano's notes with a perfect 'falsettone'. In the last part of the song he used a very supported and resonant mixed voice sustaining an E5 for 19 seconds. No singer ever existed(male or female) can do this

Dimash is without a doubt a born story teller, and his medium is music. , he casts his spell around his listeners that pulls us into his world from the first note to the last. And it's not just the music and lyrics; he does it with everything he’s got - from his facial expression, his eyes, his hands that seemingly plucks the notes from the air, to his stance, I've always said Dimash doesn’t just sing a song.
