Your "slight artistic license adjustment" when painting the wonderful view reminded me of the story of the surrealist Max Ernst's father (Philipp Ernst) who was painting a picture of his garden when he omitted a tree that spoiled the composition. Then "overcome with remorse" at his offense against realism, he cut down the tree.

Another great video Marek. 😃👍 Always pleased to see a new walk from you. It's really nice down that end, I really like Portsmouth and surrounding area. When we go over to the Isle of Wight, we always get to the port a couple of hours early, so we can spend a couple of hours in the City.
I always wanted to be one of "The Proffesionals". I loved that show, very gritty & I loved the car chases. 😁
    Facts about 'Havant' :-
1/ We stayed in the Premier Inn in Havant last year. 👍😃😳
2/ The locals pronounce it "Hav-Ant". With the emphasis on the 'A'. (Please correct me if I'm wrong.). My Birmingham accent made me pronounce it "Havunt", & I was quickly & quite rightly put right by a nice chap in the Mary Rose Museum. 😆
Keep up the great videos. 😃👍

Havant is the second most dangerous major town in Hampshire, and is the 25th most dangerous overall out of Hampshire's 268 towns, villages, and cities. The overall crime rate in Havant in 2022 was 88 crimes per 1,000 people. This compares poorly to Hampshire's overall crime rate, coming in 3.4% higher than the Hampshire rate of 85 per 1,000 residents.

The gear guides on the site have been very helpful BTW - everyone should have a sit-mat and a buff, plus I've found that amazing walking clothes and shoes actually are the proper sizes - not like high street stuff where now they seemingly slap any number on a garment and hope of the best!

Love seeing Southsea! Spent so much time there in my life I get homesick seeing it! Also I don't know why I was surprised you'd never been to Hayling Island but then I'm not really sure why you'd go there if you already live on IOW and have beautiful surroundings!! 😅🤷‍♀️
We went to Hayling a few times as kids, we'd usually go to Pompey or Southsea as my family are all from there and my Grandparents lived just outside of Botley, so it was a short train ride for us from their's. I think we went for a change of scenery, but all I remember is the time we had jam sandwiches and there was a lot of wasps!!! 😳
Some useless info: that tall white building in the background at Eastney is a Uni of Pompey hall of residence! Had a friend in there when I went. We were based in the Guildhall campus but with the view she had I could never decide if the distance was unlucky for her or not!!

I always turned off Rentaghost as soon as the music started as I didn't like it. I must watch it again now 40 years later.

    Fact about Havant:
It's a contraction of the words 'have' and 'not'! ;)
    Question of the day answer:
I'd be Sheriff Noah Stilinski in MTV's Teen Wolf series, that way I get to interact with all the cool supernatural stuff and know all the characters but not have to be in danger all the time. Even if my life would be stressful.

I didn't even know there was a Teenwolf series. I hope there was a basketball game and surfing on the tops of vans in it.

Of COURSE I was going to say (c)wasn't I? Saw the most amazing spectacular electric thunder storm🌩 on Hayling Island many moons ago. Havant fact...my cousin lives there. Please can I be Demelza from Poldark.....I need a Ross in my life. Talking of which, my husband says he wants to be Captain Kirk (with the amount of Star Trek stuff in this house he already IS tbh)......The hatby the way, is very you...it's like an old friend you take along with you on your Treks...(thankfully not Star Treks). x J x

I put the sausage bit in especially so you could use the sausage emoji. I met Angharad Rees a few times, she was a lovely lady.

@@cdwc Ah yes, the first Poldark...I watched that back in the day and the newer version too. I've read the books by Winston Graham so many times I should go on Mastermind's Specialist Subject section. Both TV series were good. I was even in the Poldark Appreciation Society for a while! Got a shock when I saw Jack Farthing in Rain Dogs though, couldn't get further from George Warleggan than that!! Ha! .....Any excuse to use a sausage emoji and I'm your gal....x J x
