I am sitting here with my sister who is in the last days of her battle with lung cancer. She asked me to find music with waves in the background and we've been listening to this for hours. It is such a privilege to be with her as she prepares to meet her Savior face to face. Love and Peace from Alabama-USA My sister passed peacefully into arms of Jesus.

I feel so lonely and as if I’m going through a silent depression. Rain helps ease my mind so I’m able to sleep. I’m in tears typing this because I have no one to turn to. If you’re reading this please pray for me and god bless you

I’d love to sit and talk with you about how much God loves you and how He came as Jesus to teach people about God. Sin separates every person from God for He is Holy. Jesus came to die on the cross for all sin, for every person for all time. Because Jesus was all God and all man He raised Himself from the dead. All of Christendom remembers how Jesus was beaten mercilessly and had a crown of 2 inch long thorns pressed on His head. He was nailed through His wrists to a cross. The One whose blood was shed as a final sacrifice so that any person can come for forgiveness of sin. No one can do enough good works to earn an eternal home with God. We need to see how our sin separates us from God. When we ask Jesus for Salvation we are covered through His work on the Cross. If we turn away from Jesus there is no way to God and glorious eternal life. Those who reject Christ, will have God’s wrath on them.
Maybe you have never heard this? Read the Book of John in the Bible, ask Jesus to forgive you and be your Saviour! I’ve known Jesus for 57 years. I was 13 years old and at the beach during sunset. Now at 70, I hope to tell as many as will listen. Anyone can contact me if they will.

I've been listening to this music and waves for many nights to help me rest. I struggle to fall asleep because of pain. I read a few comments for the first time tonight and my heart was warmed within me. To those who come after me and read my comment, allow yourself to be encouraged by the words of others here. Let your heart, mind, and body be put at ease, at lest for the night. You are not really alone.

It's raining out here and I'm in a house up the street watching some old
tv shows and eating popcorn, drinking soda and having a good time,
I glance outside occasionally and see the rain falling over the street
and my neighbors have all already gone to bed and I'm the only one still up,
My wife and kids have gone to bed and well and I just don't get sleepy like
everyone else and I don't usually get sleepy until around midnight,
That's the way it's always been and still is and now it's really coming down
and the streetlights are causing the street to shine from the rain hitting it,
It's getting near eleven o'clock and I'm just getting a little bit sleepy and nothing
on tv now so I'll head on up to bed so g'night y'all.

Rain sounds from inside a car has gotta my favourite type of recording technique. It has a lot of atmosphere and sounds more balanced than a tin roof - you did very well with this ambient recording!
