I've gotten stung before, it wasn't really a 'tingling ' as said in the video. I thought for a few seconds that there was a swarm of tiny sea creatures biting me. Don't put cold stuff onto a sting, it makes the pain way worse, having a hot vinegar towel to wrap around the sting area is the best thing ever. Bleach will make the stingers burrow farther in. Don't rub/scratch the sting area, it will cause it to become inflamed. And there will be a time where the sting itches like crazy.

I was swimming on a beach in Florida when a huge group of juvenile lions mane jellies were passing through. They were everywhere once you got just a dozen feet from the shore. They were there in huge numbers for a week, passing through. The bigger ones farther from shore. The juvenile lions mane don't have their nomatocytes until they reach a certain size, so I'd spend an hour wading along the shore while thousands of tiny jellies passed by me, brushing up against my legs. Terrifying and mesmerizing.

Honestly depends on how big the sting is. I got stung in Capri jumping into the water not seeing there was a bunch of softball sized pink jellies in there. Felt a sharp burn in the crook of my arm, and knew I needed to get out, and after, my arm was covered in hives...was not fun. The sting was more like a burn, and hurt so so bad. Be biggest spot is about the size of a golf ball, surrounded by little dits and lines of other stings. I think I swam into one or something and it got wrapped around my arm. Do not recommend this experience lol

After that obviously people all started noticing the large amount and the next day we found about 3 holes literally full of jellyfish who were captured and left to die. i could understand if they were really bad jellyfish but the jelly there were harmless and stung for about 10 minutes at most.

Little bumps formed a circle about the size of a penny or nickel. I realized that I’d been stung by a baby jellyfish! Most likely a baby because there weren’t any visible adults in the water. I did remain in the water for a bit longer after I noticed, because I’d watched this video prior!

The cool thing about those jelly stingers is; much like mosquito probosci, they looks extremely jagged and rough up close, but actually cut through skin very easily and painlessly.
Scientists have been studying mosquito proboscis to make better and less painful needles, but mosquitoes don't actually *poke* you... they uhhm... _saw_ and _slowly hack_ their way into your flesh. Yeah. That's right. Instead of a nice smooth needle, they use a saw and hack their way through your skin and it actually hurts less!
You don't actually feel the mosquito "bite", you in fact feel the enzyme they inject into you to thin your blood so it flows easier into their gutsss....!
    Haha
    Critters be crazy!

Then why watch, traumatizing yourself and poisoning yourself against something so beautiful... you should instead watch something about the beauty and importance of the ocean and everything in it...☺️🤍🌊🐠🐟 It's okay to educate yourself on the dangers of the ocean but it shouldn't be from a place of fear and instead a place of precaution🌞!!
