One of my absolute favorite pedals! When looking for a boost pedal, this is what I had in mind. It does everything I wanted, plus a bunch I didn't know I wanted.
It's Dagan's old modded strat! American Deluxe neck, with an American Standard body, 2 John mayer Big Dipper pickups and a Pariah Blackheart humbucker!
This Katana was out yeeaaarrrsssss before the Boss Katana! I know there are a few other Katana products out there too! 🤔 But I think this was the first!
Yeah I assumed this was out before the boss katana amp mainly off the assumption that John mayor using it as a secret weapon that'd it had to be around awhile or atleast went under the radar. I was just saying that I have a vaste vocabulary and these guys are getting paid for this shit , with all the man made words in the world shit it isn't hard. If I was making a pedal and I wanted a Japanese phrase that Americans probably know and can construe idk a Hari Kari pedal would be a good name for a pedal which in plain English terms Hari Kari means suicide lol idk it's better than samurai which being a stomp box pedal it'd be like stepping on an imaginary mine. Which I'd make the box look like an old land mine or something. Which that is just right off the top of my head so shit ... pay me to name these products lol... which with this pedal being called katana first really boss should not be aloud to call their amps that 🤔 there is enough confusion in the guitar and music industry why create more idk just my opinion.
Dude! You listed all the gear you were using but you neglected to tell me which strat model you were playing. Hell man; except for the pedal (and only because it was the focus and reason for the video) the guitar is the most basic piece of the chain. Lol.

Depends on the wattage of your amp and available headroom. If you have an effects loop, put in there and it'll increase volume more effectively.
