Elkhorn residents welcome Nebraska National Guard to help with looting issue

Elkhorn residents and local law enforcement are welcoming Nebraska National Guard troops amid a growing looting problem after last week's destructive tornado.

In 1975, the National Guard protected the Westgate area of Omaha. I remember them setting up a perimeter around that neighborhood.

Yes. Its very upscale. There is lots of disparity. But if it toucjed down in less affluent neighborhood of Omaha, there would have been an outpouring of volunteers and community support, they know people cannot rebuild so they try to find some housing .
