I think in the next patch update, his 1st right talent's knockback and reaction time of opponents will be decreased, while for 2nd right, healing will be nerfed just like that of yunlin's healing melody and for 3rd right, i think contract target cant be chained infinitely. I think nekki will limit the contract target to 1 i.e after fulfilling contract, we may get contract again only once, not infinitely.
1 talent for sure just so if you are close you can avoid shadow yet if you will he too far it should connect so there would be couterplay whether you should or not use petals
Second absolutely agree his healing should be nerfed

Well idk there is a lot of counter play and risk of loosing the contract is up to you so the talent can be kept but when it comes to reload it should not be instant

Use him in ranked for sometime you will realise that once players are used to him these talents are no threat
Only the first talent will cause people to camp so it should reduce the pushback
But his healing is okay since it is quite difficult to complete a contract once people recognise your pattern

Bro I also have unlocked the hero and the matches I played with Gideon to complete his marathon gave me some learnings
1- you can interrupt clad's heavy with his upper (ofcourse in short range)
2:- Gideon's contract (critical ranged) doesn't work on clad even if he (clad) isn't using 'invincibility upon ranged attack' talent.
I think from what I understand, the best anti-heroes to the Lord are Helga، Xiang Tze ، June
Lynx is also very good against him

what if Guardian spectre is on but the opponent is Butcher and the butcher goes into shadow form to finish Gideon off with his heavy attack that should supposedly kill any other hero instantly with health lower than 30%

Broken ? Nope not really he's quite balanced just slightly op. Which makes him meta. His ranged attacks can be countered and combos can be easily broken.
