    Montreal never said that they were concerned that he would not come over. They never commented on him. Brobov goes to Russia and, as we know, has good connections with SKA (who owns Michkov rights). I think that Brobov knew that this guy has issues.

      So agree. The media cycles around a theory and then makes it sound like it came from the decision makers. They have no more information now then they had then. Should be a closed topic. But I'm sure we will have several more episodes about we should have picked Michkov as he picks up points.

    The red flags around Michkov weren’t exclusively about his nationality. The suspicious death of his father, the 3 year contract at the time meant you can’t control his development at a crucial age. And last but not least his rumoured violent behaviour towards teammates.

    • @amadeussmith693
      @amadeussmith693 2 месяца назад +1

      He's also a defensive liability, he's not a big guy at 5'9-5'10 and around 175 lbs and i don't know about him being violent but there is enough smoke about an attitude problem (wich might not be true) and the fact that he made it difficult and/or unpleasant for many teams to meet with him before the draft didn't help what so ever. I think overall Montreal is better off with Reinbacher and Demidov if the objective is the Stanley cup even if Michkov ends up cracking 100pts

    In addition Stan Bowman has never built a team. In Chicago Dale Tallon put the team on paper and when Scotty Bowman was President or special advisor they fired Tallon and gave the job to his son Stan Bowman. He had his name on a stanley cup in which he did nothing. Now he inherits a team that went to the finals and has an opportunity to put his name on Lord Stanley again AFTER being part of a scandal. Yet no one says anything. The world is crazy. What's wrong is wrong even if everyone is doing it. Its wrong. I feel terrible for the Sheldon Kennedy's, Fleury , Kyle Beach, where these people have to live with this nightmare and people like Stan Bowman get reinstated and promoted? With all due to respect Mr. Button whatever is on the report who cares! he is guilty. Juts like Hockey Canada and their own scandal of hiding things in which their players has sexual assaults. Keeping people like this around shows there are different laws for everyone. To add he demolished the Hawks and he will do the same to the oilers. The Oilers is a shame is not a good organization. the NHL is a company where evil lives and good is dead. How does a parent feel if their son is playing Stan now? stan is not okay. he is a BUM. POINT FINALE.

    The Edmonton players led by Mcdavid and Draistl should stand up as GOOD people since a colleague of theirs who was in the NHL in Beach to state we wont play for this General Manager. Good people stand up and act .. It seems everyone complains but actually does nothing. When good people sit on the sidelines and do not act bad things happen. This person was the leader in covering everything up. The funny thing is on how dumb Stan Bowman is that he could have been a hero. Instead he lied and ended up being a bum. He could have gone public, fired that person, seek help, not have other people join in the silence. Helped Beach out from A-Z.. THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN ACTION OF GOOD. Even if he had to resign for the better good. John Davidson and Jeff Gorton made a cry publicly of what happened to Panarin. with just cause. The league punished them and the team fired them. thats normal? Davidson and Gorton showed integrity, respect, and stood up. they got rewarded by getting fired and Stan Bowman gets the chair of to a stanley cup contender?. Hockey Canada lied and hid things.. anything happen? nope. All i can see is NO ONE CARES ABOUT ANYTHING. SO PEOPLE all the screaming you do and COMPLAINING you do wont change BECAUSE NO ONE DOES ANYTHING. it starts with one person to stand up and scream and joined by others. here we go to socila media cry and complain and the next day were at the stadium. thats whats sick. right now the stars of the team should not accept Stan. would edmonton really trade mcdavid over Stan? seriously?
