Bought my first 2002 from Peter when he still owned Peter’s Hobby Shop in Wilsonville, OR. The rest is history! He’s an incredible wealth of knowledge, and owns some amazing cars!
The wheels on the 325 ix are BBS RA usually used on volkswagens Golf and Polo Mrk II. I have the same on my bmw e21 323i because they just need 5mm spacers up front and nothing at the back and they fit perfectly.
This is very cool. The 325iS was introduced in 1985 - the same year as the BMW 333i - and was a sporty upgrade of the 325i. Two versions were introduced in limited numbers: 145kW and 155kW (both 2.7 litre naturally aspirated engines). They had a uniquely identifiable ‘iS’ body kit, 15” wheels, full electric package, 25% limited slip differential and M Sport suspension with Bilstein struts. The car has a rich racing history winning local races such as the Stannic Group N Class and Castrol Nine Hour races amongst others. Built in South Africa Much love from SA💗
I used to have an e30 325 touring. At Tedfest in Toronto, someone had an iX touring! I took my car to Vintage at Vineyards one time. It was parked in a row with a bunch of M3's. Since this was before the 25 year limit to import into the US, a rare sight. Here in Canada, we were allowed to import a car after 15 years.
It was wild seeing the local legend on the rally. I was even wearing my Salzmann Motors t-shirt when I saw him that day. Had no idea he moved to that part of the state.
