dont ever try this steps, my systems have been erased after i change the name of the file directory. I was shocked when i restart my laptop and promp that account can't log in. Then i just repeat the process and rechange what I change previously, and delete the .bak file and restart again. Thank you for making us mad!

@@rutvik.26 same way as he said. But start nor search worked. Go to win + R and search regedit. Then do the same remember the location of the profile list. Delete the temp one. And change the name back to how it was and sign out and sign in. It should work. Check the users folder in c drive. Delete the temp and extra folders. The old data is not deleted. It is stored in the original user

The only thing was my desktop icons were all pushed to one side they're not left the way I had them I was hoping the file that controls this was part of the files that I moved around is there an easy way to fix and put them all back the way they were?

You can change the username from the windows GUI. It keeps tte same folder name in the file system though.

okay so it worked, but once i logged into the account i changed the file name to, my start menu wont work :/
All my files got deleted and I had to restore my pc back 2 weeks thanks a fucking lot

What happens if you do this while in the same user account? Not good. Get ready to use recovery mode to get you account back.
Didn't work, created a TEMP user. Then it showed couldn't sign in after restart. Had to revert all the changes

Go to regedit from windows+R. Search for the location and rename it back to normal. Restart. Delete temp folders from windows>users folder
