    Rubio and Ingles are quietly becoming superstars. I mean, both have improved a lot scoring, but the thing that make them special is their IQ basketball. How they move and find a better option of shooting... Man I think that's why this team is working

      @@Swof99 The PG in my opinion shouldn't be a scorer. Should be a player that move the ball and the team, and in that, Rubio for me is a superstar :)

    Just a comment, Gordon did challenge Rudy at the rim once. Remeber the 'thrown elbow' that they reviewed for a possible flagrant?

    Ingles 8-9 1st half I think. Then he took chances with his shot. Great win. Also Boston fans realize what was on the line for Utah in this game if we lose it is gonna be all Hayward and his revenge...now instead everyone saying Boston is trash. Wrong. This was Utah's revenge for someone who jilted a lover when it was all set up for him. Big big win.

      Pardon the analogy. But Utah was so dejected when he left and to learn the details afterward was...annoying to put it mildly. I personally just want to forget him and be on to the next one.

    Dude you capture my feelings on this perfectly. I'm so tired of the Boston fans coming into Jazz Twitter or Reddit and saying "meh don't be salty blah blah business decision blah blah made the choice for him and his family blah blah."
    Sure, he did. Hindsight, I'm SO glad hr did, that contract will be a weight around the Celtics' neck for ages and Donovan is the best person ever.
    But I'm still salty and will be til the day I die. He lied, tried to ruin the franchise and salt the earth in his wake. If you're gonna leave, leave and try to give something in return. Screw Haywood!!

    This was the first game all season I saw the Jazz play the championship level defense and roll on offense like they did last year. It was a bit of a slow start, but the latter half of the game was a great showing of what they are made of. The team we saw tonight could beat any team in the league.

    Indeed. I think if Gordy were still on the team, I foresee 3 possibilities:
    1. Gordy starts at the three, Joe is moved to the starting two and DM becomes the 6th man. This seems blasphemous, although this is what probably would be happening if Gordy had never left.
    2. Gordy starts at the three, Spida keeps the 2, which forces Joe to be the sixth man. Joe is a glue guy so it would work but the team would really miss the shooting, passing and efficiency of Joe.
    3. Gordy starts at the four, Joe starts at the three, Spida at the two. This makes Favors the back up center. I am reluctant to put Favors as the sixth man because I like the 6th man to be a glue guy who can shoot from outside like Crowder (or previously Hood).
    My favorite scenario of those three is is the 3rd scenario in which Favors switches to exclusively back up center unless defensive match ups necessitate two bigs.
    But the best scenario of all is:
    4: Gordon leaves for Boston. This allows the Jazz to give the keys of the offense over to DM. He develops much, much quicker than Gordy ever did. DM becomes a worthy franchise cornerstone in his rookie season instead of taking 7 seasons to reach that feat like some people *cough* did. Favors is the starting 4, Joe the starting 3, DM the starting 2, and Crowder the 6th man.
    I like that scenario the best.

    Can anyone explain why Exum played only two minutes

    • @_Vicarious
      @_Vicarious 6 лет назад

      Because Quin is a fuck head. Quin is overrated and has done nothing but demolish any confidence Exum could have. Poor Exum is so affraid to make a mistake he plays conservatively. The shit Exum does that's wrong he is crucified for, whilst Rubio and Mitchell are given a golden ticket to make as many fuck ups as they want. The Jazz early season poor form is basically because of Mitchell. He is shooting shit, turns it over and has horrid shot selection. Exum should request a trade. He will flourish under someone that knows how to use his talents.

  • @Patrick11990
    @Patrick11990 6 лет назад +5

    While it was an important win, it’s still blatantly obvious that the major weak point of this team is the pg duo of rubio/exum. If we’re gonna have any success this season we need solid and consistent contribution from both of them at the same time, more often. Rubio shooting above 40% once every 4 games and exum having more turn overs than assists every other game just wont cut it. Won’t be surprised when Rubio goes 3 of 12 against memphis... but I hope I’m wrong.

      Snyder is not always consistent with reserves' minutes. Sometimes you see Allen, sometimes you don't. I think it's more of who's in a good rhythm as well as the style match-ups that will determine if Sefolosha plays.

    That was an amazing game suck in Hayward I do feel still a little bad because I think me and I don't know like a million other jazz fans all parade last year for him just to break his ankle which I did and then all the sudden he broke his ankle but in my defense I said I'm just kidding right before it happened and then it happened and I feel guilty but I don't feel guilty because f*** him he left screw you betray word movie fitting Justice for him to only average like 14 points a game.but on a different note I would just like to say Rubio seriously stop turning the ball over it's scary as crap you do it a lot and you just really crazy passes but other than that slow mojo Joe you the best and Donovan of course I wouldn't trade anything that happened because you never know maybe we trade Hayward and we don't end up with Donovan Mitchel and let's be honest we all would rather have Donovan Mitchell who's in his second year over Gordon Hayward right now even if he wasn't injured cuz David Mitchell does what Gordon Hayward couldn't do in f****** one year it's a Gordon Hayward like 8 years. And I think that Rudy gobert fruit who the real All-Star is it ain't no Gordon betrayward you know he who should not be named he's like Voldemort but instead of a messed up nose he broke his ankle I know I can Nas repair over his ass instead he gets to watch and cry and then hide on the bench while the jazz beat his ass.
