Thanks Robert for another great video. I like what you said about narrow broadheads with low poundage bows. More focus on making a good lethal shoot placement. This year I've taken 5 deer with Simmons broadheads with a 45 pound longbow. Shoot placement is critical for recovery. I should receive my first ASL creek walker Gator next week. Keep those videos coming. Thanks In Christ

Mr. Carter thanks for another great video. I've followed you for a while and gained a ton of knowledge from you, thanks for that.
I would like to share a little trick that I do to my broad heads and get your opinion on it. First off, I use Ace heads but I sharpen the back edge on a bevel. The idea of this is for when you don't get the full penetration that we all want , that the arrow cuts as it backs out and on a slightly different wound channel. This is all kind of a theory but I do know that sharpening a broadhead like this will destroy a block type target as you pull the arrow.
Thanks if you read through this long post and I appreciate all that you have done for traditional hunting.

Hi Robert, great videos. I purchased to sets of the broad heads from jerry after one of videos. Quick response and shipping. Awesome broadheads, very well made and razor sharp. I'm hoping to finish my season of with them. Question: What did you use to add weight to the front with those broadheads? Also, I'm pulling #45 @ 26, what wood arrow spine would you recommend to start with? Looking at 290 upfront and trying to get the shortest arrow length, around 27"-27.5" . thanks

I wish I could report what a good job my Jerry Hill "Killer" broadheads did but I only got one shot last year with them and I missed. Got good penetration in the dirt. This year I have used them and two other heads and only had one shot opportunity and got a deflection. I'll have to try harder to draw blood. Give Daisy May a kiss for me. She's a sweet dog.

Robert you have to try out the magnus stinger buzzcut broadheads. They work so good and they last forever. You could probably kill 4-5 deer with one head.

@robertcarte95 that's a good weight. Having come from a compound bow, my first recurve was a 60#. I didn't know any better. I now hunt with a 53# @ 28" and more recently a 45# @ 28". I've gotta say dropping down into the 40's was a good move for me. Thanks.
