  • Given the title as “the grandfather of fansubbing”, the founder of Arctic Animation, Chairperson of VJAS, owner of Anime Jyanai, and dubbed the nickname King Of Smut '95; he is William Chow. In a documentary style series, where we will go back into time to a much different time in anime history. We will look at some items of memorabilia, and their significance and stories about them. We will also look at how being an anime fan was back in the late 80's and early 90's compared to what it is like now. For those who love to go down memory lane and hear stories of the fast growing era of anime. Also for those new to anime, learn straight from the horse's mouth, how the anime we take for granted came to be and maybe even get some suggestions on some classic anime that you should watch. Don't forget to subscribe since there are going to be many episodes covering a wide range of topics from the world of anime.
In today's episode, I will do a deep analysis on an essay written about the Usenet group rec.arts.anime.

thank you for your comment. There has always been female fans. Agreed, they have always disliked the extreme otakus, that is not new assessment. I think now, people just concentrate more the actual anime and concentrate on the ME marketing of the anime.
