I can't tell you how much joy your content brings to me. I'm a resident living in the U.S. but I am Vietnamese. I have been losing my touch with Vietnamese culture so it feels so refreshing to see the beauty you capture in Vietnam. It makes me feel at home. Thank you so much for the laughter and smiles you gave. I hope you meet good things and be successful!!
Ngày nào mà còn độc tài Việt Cộng thì đất nước Vietnam vẫn còn trẻ em và người già lang thang kiếm từng miếng ăn khắp đầu đường xó chợ. Chống phá đất nước và phá hoại đất nước Vietnam thì phải hỏi những đảng viên Cộng sản Vietnam mới đúng.
Beautiful friendship. At least Dustin is an adventurous man. He is not afraid of unknowns . This is the best way to learn about the culture and custom of different countries. Dustin is a humble man, intelligent, honest, and generous human being. He lives in the countryside and mix with the locals. He was invited to several TV shows in Vietnam . He is a celebrity in his own right. Watch his old videos . You can tell his great personality. Love ❤️ you, Dustin. 👏 Bravo 🎈 !
I swear to god, I just came across your channel and found out that you were my English teacher at an English center in Nha Trang, back in 2016 when I was in grade 6 or 7.
I love the way you shared your first experience in VN. You were very sincere and very genuine. That makes you so unique and so special, Dustin. I would hope you will fall in love with VN, the people, the foods, and the culture VN has to offer. All the best Dustin!
It's such a blessing to have a friend who really cares and always there for you. I hope you both have a great day today and the year ahead is full of many blessings.
Thanks Dustin. I was been in Australia for couples of year. its was like my second hometown. Until now when i back to Vn, i still remember that time. I hope You love Vietnam and people here, event it was not your home country. God bless you.
He loves Vietnam and Vietnamese people. He is quite famous in the country. He was invited to many TV shows in Vietnam. He is very humble. He lives in the countryside and mixes with the local farmers.
người Vnam đặc biệt người miền Nam thi siêu thân thiện rùi,mình người mien Bắc vao tphcm học co rất nhiều bạn ở Cà Mau họ rất rất thân thiện tôi rất thích người miền Nam
Really great video as it provided a bit more detail and insight to your background with Vietnam. I think you were so lucky to have met those two brothers whom showed you the Vietnamese culture and ways. Had you been like most foreigners and just stuck to hanging out with Westerners, you'd not have had the experience you have. What an amazing life trajectory due to meeting the right people at the right time.
I love the way Khanh speaking English, he’s not pretending to have perfect English like many others do, his English is raw and might get better if he has time to practice.
I do enjoy your video with Khanh, I also have a best friend, who is planning to move out of Vietnam for a long time because of her new jobs and new life… and I will miss her a lot. So your friendship reminds me of my sweet memories and I hope I can see more videos of you about this. I have endured a difficult time with bad people so your videos inspire and help me a lot. Thanks.
ONE of the best quality of VIETNAMESE People's are they NEVER hold crush or HATE , and they very kind, i live and work in uk for nearly 40 YEARS and see a lot of hate and racist some tell me to my face that i am lucky that i am not Japanese because this man hate Japan's, i get racists from the Chinese people in their supermarket, but they make me proud of where i come from small country but big HAART from a small people easy to forgive.
One of the reasons why I like watching your videos is that you show the day to day life of Vietnamese people. It’s refreshing to watch this as opposed to all the videos about tourist traps or videos explaining the same types of food over and over again. I’ve been watching your videos for awhile now and I feel like your lifestyle matches better with Nha Trang than Saigon. Would you ever move back?
My first best friend, this reminds me off my child hood first friend way back when. Thanks for sharing Dustin. Not many people have best friends, most people honestly only have a handful of best best friends.👍
Very interesting story that you didn't tell in detail when you first moved to Vietnam, you only mentioned briefly before. Thank you so much for sharing. I feel lucky when I can understand and speak two languages fluently as I can understand both of you easily. And your videos are getting Vietnamese, more and more. Like the big sound in the end and the ending phrase "xong rồi". This video style is not halarious like when you filmed with Nấm Lùn but it is super natural and funny in a way, especially when your stories are unfolded slowly with Khánh, who has so much memory that you don't even remember or take note of, like the fact you can enjoy hospital foods easily. :D
Wow, 3 guys in one room, I can’t imagine. But, I know it happens because my nephew is doing it in Saigon with his student friends. They do it to save. I really take my hat off to you guys. The Vietnamese are very resilient & can live in any situation. I mean, we escaped Vietnam 🇻🇳 on a small boat with over 50 people on the boat.
Did not know Dustin went to VN for hospital volunteer to earn hours to apply for PA school. Now they need 1400 working hours relate to medical. Love to see more video with Khanh 😍
I love the video which tells us how you started your life in Vietnam …it’s very interesting to see how you learn and get adapted to the cultural differences
What an absolute wonderful story you shared with us Dustin, Khanh sounds like a wonderful man to have around, he's english is great 👍.. keep up the great work Dustin ps just hearing you speak Vietnamese is just incredible
Life is a journey with many surprises and various paths of destiny, that how it explains a California guy, yes you Dustin, ended up in my hometown Nhatrang and got stuck loving and staying in Vietnam instead of going back to the States to complete your education and having a boring life as me here in Nashville Tennessee punching the clock and paying bills months after months. I envy your choices of life and freedom Dustin, and enjoy your videos! Keep up the good work and great contents. I’ll come back to Nhatrang for my retirement in the future…. Peace from Nashville 🇺🇸
So, you and Khanh had a great friendship. I was born in Nha Trang and lived there till I was six years old, then my parents moved to Saigon. I did not remember a lot there. I have one nephew named Khánh too, and one cousin named Khanh. Good luck with everything, Dustin, and thank you, Khánh! 👍💕
Give you bed to sleep acctually is the core thing in Vietnamese culture, when a person came to to our house, you're a GUEST and our culture is give the guest the best thing in house, try our best to make our guest feel as much comfort as we can. And if you become close friend with us, we even treat you like a real member of our family, if you hungry, find something to eat in kitchen, if you need sleep, find a corner or a bed anywhere in house and sleep...if the parent see you as their child they even give you money if you need.
You have a really great friend. He’s really trying his best with his English, his face expression is not there yet but it will come haha. Learn Vietnamese Dustin!!, surprise your best friend
So refreshing to see you visit a good friend and share some Vietnamese cultures. Great content Justin. I'm a registered Nurse. Did you earn your PA license?
No... I had about 6-8 months of work and volunteer experiences and was planning to apply after about a year. However, I decided to stay in Vietnam and forgo PA school
This is exsactly why i want to move there. The people are just more friendly and open! you are really lucky to have found him and awesome you staying good friends. but for me the food is actually a problem, the fat, sweet and bones in the dishes is something i have a difficulty with :)
It’s Sunny , and quieter out there In There. Dustin, I hope you could buy a farm and make your own a beautiful farm with animals and fruits and flowers.
Been watching your videos, love your natural approach to things. I'm coming back to NHA Trang in December later this year (2022) , long term I'm planning to move to NHA Trang to live as my wife is from there. My dream is to live in Vietnam. for now however I can live vicariously through your videos haha.
I like Nha Trang. Family lived there for a few years before moving to Saigon. One of my older siblings was born there. I visited in 95 (my first time in Nha Trang) and liked it a lot although I didn't venture into town, I basically stayed at a beach front mini hotel. It's a coastal province so what's not to like..

Awesome friendship, Dustin and Khánh! I think Khánh 's English is pretty good because I understand everything he said regardless about the accent. Dustin you got to teach him how to pronounce "Beach" and "bitch" lol.

@Brian Max. On behalf of the Vietnamese people, thank you so much for your kind comment.
only the south VN , the North VN are cruel and cunning
