I like them so far. their weapons, flashy moves, and combos are cool, and they're really good at fighting but can still be trained a lot better and more. They don't have elemental powers as well with also adds on to it. they seem out of place in the show with their amount of flashyness and long catchphrases like they're from a different and more light series and remind me a bit vaguely of the ninjago high-school AU movie. the contrast however also brings out them as the comic relief a bit more. the foil parts to them are being annoying, jerks, overly prideful, arragonce, super flashy, the disrespect, etc. honestly if they were made them to be consistent recurring side characters throughout the series and to actually work alongside the og ninjas from time to time I'd be into it to see the interactions, character developments, and comedy. they'd be the most challenging sidekicks/students ever and I'd love to see the og team getting frustrated when trying to work with them and help them improve. they have the potential to be really good support and help out the areas and lackeys more that aren't as dangerous but still aid if things go really bad. edit: they also remind me a bit like Dareth

It’s funny now that they were basically useless and incompetent in part 2. They show it a little bit (sort of) in part 1, but it was overshadowed as the scenes go on, which is strange and it makes the old ninja feel more inadequate because now there’s these new ninjas that are basically nobodies and they took care of the bad guys while they were fighting. They were also two steps ahead of them with a tracker, so seeing that while the old ninja were going through a rough time makes you feel bad for the old ninja because now they’re the underdogs. It’s funny how that changed when the new ninja failed in like 1 fight and that’s it.
All I’m questioning is how we went from the overlord to what we have now ? Seriously it’s just odd how much the quality had dropped not to mention even the old ninja have been multilated it’s just a shame to see what’s happened over time.

Having watched the show since release with the skeletons and the introduction of the four weapons and dragons and being so excited and invested in that all when I was a child, the lego ninjago movie ruined it all because it brought the show as a whole to a tier lower in quality. This is mainly because they changed the voice actors and character models. I still see no reason why they did it and it ruined the show for me which is a shame since my friends and I were such die hard fans of the masterpiece that it used to be.
