The Guest isnt unused they are using him for the Intro so you cant go to other Areas where you need to go to the Neighbors house but he will just not be used after finishing the cutscene with Mr.Peterson looking out from the Window in the museum
I think maybe the mall will coming in the upcoming chapter since the introduction tell us we gonna discover the secret behind Mr Peterson and find out what he covers in the golden apple amusement park on the hill

Btw the Watch icons are used in the game when you click Tab for Inventory it just doesnt works only if you get catched it changes then to Night or Day.
Clementine isn't Imbir btw, it's just using Imbir's model as a placeholder. Imbir's is CH_Imbir, but EGS forgot to change it back, so the model is still Skipper :skull:
