  • In this video I review and compare 6 condenser microphones ranging from $60 to $200, including the following: Comica STA-U2D, RODE NT-USB+, Saramonic SR-BV4, Saramonic SR-Mv2000, sE Electronics NEOM USB, and Takstar TAK45.
    Audio quality and price are the two main considerations with any microphone, but there's a lot to consider when it comes to build quality and extra features like built-in EQ, USB support, and more.
    Make sure you leave a comment and let me know which dynamic microphone in this lineup you think sounds the best!

    The Takstar Tak45 is the microphone used by my Brazilian cousin Dicas da Alezinha.

    Wow, your wife is so professional and has one of the best voices I've come across in audio books.
    Tak45 really surprises me. I know it's not a bad mic but it really sounds good on your voice. It falls behind NT-USB+ by a tiny margin though, which I think sounds the best of the bunch.
    Great review, thanks for sharing~

      Thanks! And yes, she is really great!
      I love finding hidden gems from smaller brands, and I think the TAK45 is one of them.

    I bought a $20 takstar on-camera shotgun mic and I still use it for scratch audio to this day. Way better quality than expected for the price.

      I was shocked at how good the TAK45 sounded for the price! Definite hidden gem in my opinion.

    great video , thanks. i'm so in-between rode nt usb+ and xdm100/maybe podmic usb for youtube & twitch. i have issues with my current mic taking all the sound in the room and it's an untreated room. what do you suggest ? do you think i can handle the noise like cars outside etc. with the softwear or should i go for a dynamic mic ?

      If you have issues with ambient sound that is not your voice, I'd definitely go with a dynamic mic. They do a better job at isolating your voice, especially if you get right up on the mic when you talk.
      I haven't tested the PodMic USB yet, but it too works with the RODE software. It's much smaller than the XDM-100, and doesn't need the shock mount either.
      I think the PodMic USB would be the best choice here, because although the XDM-100 may sound slightly better straight out of the box, the PodMic can be tuned to sound exactly how you want, it's a more compact setup, and it's a little less expensive.
      If you buy it, I'd greatly appreciate if you used my link :) geni.us/podmicusbrode
      Hope that helps!

    Hello i have a question sir if i buy this microfone instead of hyper x quadcast would it better choice?i mean can it fit game chats? thanks

    • @NewLayer
      @NewLayer  4 месяца назад +1

      Yes, all of these mics will work great for streaming. The Hyper X is nothing special in that regard.
      I don't have experience with that mic since I've never used it, but typically "gamer" mics like that focus more on the aesthetics, and less on the actual sound quality, so it just depends on what you care about most.
      I have some other mic comparison videos, which you might find useful!

      @NewLayer  3 месяца назад

      @@armanyeleussinov8352 I've never tested the Wave 3 specifically, but I would definitely trust sE Electronics over Elgato for a quality microphone.

    Hola amigo; Escuché la prueba con unos AKG K240. El SE y el Takstar suenan mejor en ese orden. Mucho más nítidos.
    Conozco a Takstar (Siempre da lo mejor al menor precio);
    En Colombia se consiguen varios de sus productos; de hecho he tenido 2 Mic dinámicos Takstar muy económicos de menos de 25$ y tengo unos audífonos excelentes HD 2000.
    En ese orden, me gustaría que probaras el mic nuevo que salió el Takstar SM-9 (U$120), hermoso mic Vs uno tradicional como el AT-2020.
    Agradezco de antemano tu colaboración.

      I would love to test out new Takstar mics after trying the TAK45! I'll do my best to include more of their products in future videos.

      It's a great mic, even totally raw! The RODE software lets you shape and customize the sound a ton on the input side, which also saves time during editing/post-processing.
