Did you notice - its the culture in the Hills - India (Uttarakhand, Darjeeling, Sikkim Himachal), Nepal, Bhutan, - no one gives or takes anything with a single hand! Its considered disrespectful, as if you are giving someone alms.
That's why you give with both hands. The lady near the Pigeons did that, since she couldn't use both her hands joined together, she touched the giving arm, with her other hand. Symbolising that she was giving whole heartedly with both her hands.

Bhaijaan chinese culture bilkul alag hai. Nepali culture bilkul alag hai. Budhism or Jainism is an important offshoot of Sanatan Dharm. Gautam Buddha was born near Indo Nepal border but it is hardly 5-10% in nepal. Nepal is a very important place for Hindu Religion.In fact Nepal was the only region where sanatan dharm remained dominant when most of India about 70% including today's Pakistan and Bangladesh followed Budhism.
Budhism although born in India it spread initially in bihar, orissa, up, mp then eastward towards burma, thailand, combodia then all the way to Japan and in Northwads through Tibbet Ladakh, kashmir, afghanistan . Afghanistan and Northwest Part of Current Pakistan was almost 95% Budhist in around 6th century AD , before the people converted to islam after invasion by Arabs.
India too was around 70% budhist in around 8th century l. Budhism spread in India very fast because of efforts of Great Ashoka and pandits became very rigid and lot of bad rituals cropped up . Then adiguru shankracharya, a brahmin boy for Kerala revived Sanatan dharm ( Vaishnavism) back , made many reforms, shunned rituals like bali pratha ( ritual like qurbani in islam) and many other complex burdensome rituals not suiting those times and made Varanasi an important cultural and Religious centre. Due to his efforts Vaishnawism ( Sanatan) reemerged in India snd by 10th century 90 % of india was back with Sanatan. But major population of Tibbet, Ladakh GB etc remained Budhist. Althogh budhism has lot of cultural connection with Sanatan and we Sanatanis consider Lord Budha one of incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Apart from Tibbet you will not find buddhism elsewhere in China. They are mainly Athiest.

Buddhism is came out from Hinduism only and Buddha is one of the Avatar of GOD Vishnu. so there will be no much difference between Hindus and Buddhist.
buddha was not any avatar of any god. buddhists people do not worship or pray to god. there's no god in buddhism. also buddhism do not practice or believe after life or soul.

Buddhism doesn't believe in god or creator. And it doesn't come from hinduism. Yeah gautam buddh was hindu and many things in the Buddhism is came from hinduism but they don’t believes in god but we do. Thats the difference and it's huge.
One main reason behind Buddhism's birth was that Siddhartha Gautam got fed up with existing Hindu religious system, superstition and idol worship
So many core original values of Buddhism is exactly opposite of Hinduism while there are also many common ideas and concepts like nirvana, reincarnation etc

There is no passport or visa requirements between Nepal and India. People can just walk into these both countries!
Same like we have Pakistan and Afghanistan in the past 20 years of the Bacauae of war Afghan people can come to Pakistan without any visa documentation. But now recently we changed the rule and kicked out all Afghan after some terror influence.

I guess one major difference Pakistanis will see in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka will be the that women are out on streets, roaming, working independently.
I think you are mistaken my friend, I find it same for a woman to have independency except for few places in Pakistan !
I watched the video of one Pakistani vlogger few months ago, he also mentioned that he was surprised to see so many women working and walking independently in Nepal. He was also surprised to see women riding the scooters and going to the pubs and drinking alcohol.
I have never been to Pakistan but I also think women there have less freedom.
