Sounds like I picked the right cable to upgrade from my ancient Hitachi LC-OFC for the KEF LS50s with their metal drivers.
Ordered from Kimber's EBay store. Excellent service and price. 4.5m for $240 "used" (or burnt-in;-)
Just the full, transparent & natural sound i was hoping for.
Which Kimber do you recommend for the Magnepan LRS?
Maybe i can still use that coupon...
    Thank you!

      Nice.
      Price: $3,400 for 3m cables?
      With $600 loudspeakers?
      Isn't that a little delusional??
Oh wait, I forgot the 10% discount...

    Interesting!
My whole system is wired with the old Kimber 8PR (brown black). I decided to try bi wire my 803D and bought the cable you have in your video.
I was curious what's the difference between the old and the new and if it fits for bi wire.
So i wrote Kimber a e mail and asked but they have not responded since then but now i watched your video and got the explaination faster 😂
Thank you ! Very interesting, now i know..
The 8PR is a very good LS cable 👍🏻
I use the older 8PR for low and the new for mid and high now.
Beautiful view you have there by the way in your flat 👍🏻😉

I've have all three PR, VS, TC, 'sold the TC about 8 years ago' plus KWIK going on 20 years now. Years ago 'early 2000s' I had two PBJ's they terminated for me for my computer connected to a Sony ES 5.1 receiver and I asked for a third so they sent me a prototype cable which eventually became their GQMINI-CU.
    Thanks for the info!

I've heard good things abt Kimber for yrs but I'm struggling to get past the aesthetics, none of the speaker cables look good to me till u spend abt $1,500 or more. Maybe I shouldn't care but they could stand to do a little better. I suppose if they sound better than the cable I have I can get over it. Lol. Those cables u had in the video with the sound test were probably the best looking I've ever seen!💕

Hey there, so I've used Kimber cables off and on over a 10-year time frame and I've had to PR series and I've also and I've also had the VS series as well. It's been one of my favorite cable companies, my biggest thing that I like about them is really just to build quality, which is something I can't say I've seen with some other brands, specifically the real big one that starts with the letter a.
Anyway I recently got a new system for a bedroom, a NAD c 316 and it's matching CD player. And I want to ask you a question.
I have the opportunity to pick up some nordost cabling, specifically the two flat for The new system and I'm curious about your thoughts on something like the older 4PR and the two flat from nordst

    • @vpconcepts9838
      @vpconcepts9838  Год назад

I know what you mean about the letter "A". As far as Nordost, I actually have not heard their cables. As you said, I like the science & hand made construction behind Kimber, like no shielding and amazing connectors. I'm sure it would be fun to try the Nordost. & if it's to analytical, you could sell it on, no problem. It all really comes down to your systems synergy in the end. Thanks for watching Audiorevue! 👌🎼✨
