This scene was phenomenal. I'm proud of Spencer's maturity. I think Esme finally gets that Spencer was only coexisting because of Ace. She eavesdropped on an emotional moment and lingered at the door and at the elevator holding on to hope that he would beg her to stay and commit to her and Ace. His commitment is to the one that knocked that door and held him at the end.
Can't say it enough. NAC can take virtually any material he has been given and pull something special out. While I dislike this story line, he delivers yet again evoking emotion.
NAC is amazing in this scene. Reminding us again why he got that Emmy. But the whole time Esme was standing at that door I was thinking "Please leave now. Goodbye. See ya! Time to go. Goodbye!"

Not to sound mean but crying doesn't make you a good actor. Its about having range. There is soap level acting . Then there is Denzel and Leonardo level acting.
@beautifulone5509 so you're saying NAC isn't a good actor because he's crying? 🙄😒 Keep in mind this is the same guy who has a Daytime Emmy and is nominated for another one
Remember when Nikolas said he and Spencer would go to Greece, ride horses on the beach and feast on mousaka, souvlaki and all of the seafood they could handle after getting out of Pentonville? This time, Spencer promised all of the little things, like the park with ducks and ice cream, and swimming next summer. It's so heartwarming to know that these are promises he can keep.

Nicholas A. Chavez's method acting is phenomenal for a young actor his age, he was terrific in all his scenes, I think Esme wanted Spencer to ask her to stay but I am glad we saw our "man-child" become a "man" today, I love that Trina sensed that he needed her and she was there to give her support, they truly belong together as they totally complete each other ❤
NAC played those scenes today with the baby actor Ace, making it believe that he loves his baby brother. Proud of you Spencer that you listened to your Queen (Trina). I paid close attention to the what Spencer was saying to Ace. He is going to get his wish with Trinain the very near future. It's On And Poppin. ❤😊
@@dorothylindsey5175 Spencer does love Ace and that baby knew it. If you look at how he laid his head on Spencer's chest while Spencer was talking, kissing, and crying over him. Spencer poured all of his love into this child as he wished he had been treated like that when he was young.
NAC/Spencer. Is a wonderful actor. Just love the way he interact with Ace. Such Beautiful moments. Trina came at the right time. To be there for her man ( Spencer) When he needed her the most. Oh yes NAC is going to go far in his Career. So is Miss Ali. Happy Holidays everyone.
Ace is a good little baby actor. Spencer got too close to his baby brother, it was time to let go, and was proud of him. Glad Esme didn't let him drive them to the new apartment. GH let this baby story go too long and fans want this to be solved.
As we know, Nicholas is the kind of actor that only cries when he means it, the scene is physically getting to him. That's crystal clear here. No musical commentary needed. This is a promising and loving goodbye song in and of itself similar to "You'll Be In My Heart" by Phil Collins.
When he teared up i was tearing up with him. I think that we forget Spencer has abandonment issues and eventhough ace leaving is a good thing he still felt a little bit triggered but i love that instead of lashing out he's working through it.
NAC is such a good actor. Had me in my feelings 😢. But he did the right thing. I was afraid Esme was going to change her mind when she over heard Spencer but glad she didn’t.
Esme was a little salty, she thought Spencer was gonna beg her to stay and was extra salty when she got on that elevator and it was no begging and no hugs.
This Moment Is Just So Heartbreaking For Me Especially For Spencer. I Don't Really Know If I Could Trust Esme Being On Her Own With Ace. But It Is What It Is So I'll Have To Believe She's Doing The Right Thing
First off, i believe that is the other brother playing the role of Ace. Second, having Esme once again, spy on a private moment is unnecessary and fails at any attempt to draw an emotional response from the audience to Esme given her character;regardless of whatever crap the show is trying to sell us. When you have a character who feels that an apology is the only thing that will suffice for the amount of damage she's done to her victims, you're not gonna receive the type of response you thought you'd get; and that is the audience warming up to this sociopath who has had everything handed to her on a silver platter without any sort of ACTUAL redemption. She's done nothing, but minimize what she's done and instead makes herself a victim as if to equate herself with those she's wronged. She's managed to do this alongside Laura, who continues telling her that it's not her fault and to move on from what she did. This only serves to amplify the idea of what she feels she's owed instead of what she owes her victims. With that said, Spencer's feelings, no matter how horrible the story arc, is what matters here. He bonded with his brother for several reasons; the main one being his estranged/ strained relationship with his father; and Ace being born filled in that gap and helped soothe that emotional wound. Second, if we go back to January of this year, what we saw was a mentally and emotionally drained Spencer trying to wrap his mind around the death of a woman who had been the closest thing to him as a mother figure. Brit's death gutted him. And what would probably have been a mental collapse/depression, Ace being born shortly after gave him a bit of solace in that time. Third, we also saw a Spencer who was guilt ridden and angry due to the fact that his last words with his father stemmed from a place of anger and disappointment with no where to put it. That, on top of hearing that the woman he thought he knew and at point, cared for, didn't at all feel the same, and that her sole purpose of pursuing him was to destroy his connection with his dad ala Ryan's orders; as in her father. And before anyone comes in with an excuse for her, please don't, because no one told her to do what she did to Cam, Joss and Trina. That was a personal choice. Point is, Spencer has been through a lot both emotionally and mentally. Anyone thinking that he'll magically sweep it under the rug is sorely mistaken. These things take time. Right now he's grieving. And It's not about what we think It's about how he feels. He's allowed to feel how he feels. Who are we to decide what someone's feelings are, or how they should process something or when. It's a process. And with Trina by his side, and hopefully some therapy(although it is gh, so the chances that happening are low)he'll get through this.
It was the other baby because his twin was a little bigger in size. No sympathy from me but I bet you that Esme watching Spencer loving her son and his baby brother so much, made her realize that she lost a good man in Spencer. Her loss and Trina's gain. Your comments are right on point and thanks my dear lady.
@@marshagreen9759 🙏🏾💯 Esme realizes she lost, but that's where it ends. Going back and watching her scenes with Spencer where she tells him that Trina's the reason she lost Spencer speaks volumes. What it was, was two things; her not wanting to acknowledge that Spencer's feelings are his own and that she has no ownership over them and it pissed her off. Second,Trina's existence bothers her. No matter what she does Spencer will always be drawn to Trina. The fact that she blames Trina is because she sees Trina as someone she could never be, and even if she had the same qualities as Trina, Spencer would still want Trina. If she were half way across the world, or even in death, she would occupy his mind. Imagine what that does to someone with Esme's mindset. It makes her dangerous.
