- Hello! Here are a few looks for some goblincore outfit inspiration. Goblincore is all about nature; focusing on things like frogs, snails, and mushrooms. I'd say things to look for dark colors, nature patterns (leaves, mushrooms, frogs . . . etc) , overalls, brown pants, and items with a slightly old-fashioned feel. The color palette I focused on was dark and natural, with earthy and foresty tones.

For those asking about the bird: she was given to us by a neighbor. They found her on the road as a weak nestling and had tried to take care of her but did not know how. My dad's parents ran a nature conservancy and he grew up taking care of anything from raccoons to snakes. We called all of the local bird places but none would take it - they were either too full or didn't want a nestling. So we fed her and sheltered her until she was able to fly. We even took her to the park where she was found and spent hours looking for other birds like her but found none. We even left her there for a few hours to see if she would be ok, but she came to us when we returned. She did not know how to catch food and was very hungry so we took her back. Even though we know you are supposed to have as little personal connection to it as possible, it just kind of happened and she started landing on our heads or hands. Some things happened and finally, a spot at a bird place opened up. The owner said she was the healthiest and most taken care of bird that had been brought to them. Unfortunately because of certain circumstances, we did not get to say goodbye. Yeah, there's some tea here. ☕️ Anyway, we stayed in contact with the owner and she provided us with updates. Kit - the bird, was doing really well. The aviary was always open so the birds could leave whenever they want. One day Kit did not return and so we assume she joined her flock who were actually migrating the previous month.

ROCK ON! I just found out that my husband and I are "goblincore" yesterday! We have SO MANY rocks lol. I like to look for quality and cheap outdoorsy clothes on threadup. You can get nice used vintage clothes and sort by "wool" so you know the fabric will keep you warm in the rain (which is 100% sure to happen when you flop around outside all the time).

Honestly though, I'm really into this, even before I knew what goblincore was...But I've always had a problem figuring out the fashion for it. But this video gives me a good Idea for outfit inspiration. Thank you :')
I never was a person who said they had some kind of style or dressed in this or that aesthetic, but always loved cottagecore. Yet it just wasn't for me. It felt to feminine and pretty for me to pull off. Yesterday I stumpled over Goblincore and think I found my vibe. Thank you a lot for this inspirationen. Got me some ideas for myself and want I to wear and feel comfortable with.

@@Labanorass I'll post the brief story of the bird in a pinned comment because it is asked about so often. but in short a neighbor gave us a bird they had found as a young nestling on the road, we took care of it, fed it, and sheltered it until it learned to fly. it became accustomed to us and would sometimes jump on our heads or hands. now it is in the wild, having been finally taken in by a bird sanctuary and then released.

Thank you! ☺️ Many of them are left over from when I was younger that I have altered to fit me now like the overall shorts into a dress. Some of them are my mom’s from when she was younger, and I got a lot of them at Goodwill, like the corduroy suspender pants and the beige corduroy pants and Mary Jane shoes.
I partake in many different styles/aesthetics/subcultures
Such as Punk, emo, goblincore and dark academia being my main ones
And i get pretty much all of my clothes from thrift stores!
If you go weekly you'll always find awesome stuff

This was actually a bird we had been raising since it was a nestling (brought to us by neighbors after it was found on the road), now she's all grown up and flying somewhere with her fock hopefully
How is the painted t-shirt holding up?
it's actually doing really well, the black paint has a few thin cracks along the weaving of the fabric because I had painted it on so thickly, but other than that the colors are the same and it still looks good
Also thoughts on calling the bird Greg everyone?
our neighbors named it Kitty so we called it Kit. But Greg is definitely something we should have thought of lol

@@justagayfrog9616 I don’t wear it much anymore because it got an oil stain on it, but I have washed it a few times and the paint is pretty much fine, if you stretch it it may get a few crack lines though
