靜蓉牧師形容她從小個性孤僻、脾氣壞、孤立、自主，孤兒的心不時會跑出來。但人子在地上，就是只作父要做、說父要說的。耶穌說：我不撇下你為「孤兒」，我必到你們這裡來。耶穌宣告，我要帶你們「回家」，回心裡的家。天父要來拜訪你的心，活在天父的乳養和愛中。認識天父的愛，是要讓我們的心回家。你才有歸屬感、安全感。學兒子的模樣，就有安息，只有兒女才能回家。
