One of my favorite youtubers,I have been watching your awesome content since 2014,Thank you so much for inspiring us all with your amazing videos Mr Jonathan
Adding derelicts to the shallows of the oceans is the ONE thing I have found where mankind has actually ADDED that is beneficial to the ocean environment. Such a cool thing.
I wonder what those Moray Eels are up to... The Yellow Bar Angelfish is probably the prettiest fish on that reef. I I gasped when you said Electric Ray 😆 6:41 It’s only using one spiracle. Why? You’re last sentence is so true! Even just swimming at the beach is epic, never dull! Thank you so much for still posting this, even though you got “skunked”, as you say, with the sharks. I saw something about this place earlier this week, and it sounded so cool, and now you have a video on it! Thank you so much, again, for all your effort!
BlueWorldTV Oh my god LOLOL I died of laughter when I read this. My parents gave me the weirdest looks. My mom was like, “What?” And I was like, “You have to watch the video...” 🤣🤪
Lol that dive master putting his head up through that small gap just big enough for his head was a crack up! its almost like people(and sea life)get silly and playful in your presence Birdman. I love your Videos and have always had a fear of the Ocean . even though I have always wanted to Scuba .....i know right, but over watching your Videos and following one of your liked channels sent me also listening to Woody and Gus from Divetalk (which has also helped me seeing all the saftey that comes with no only cave diving but all forms. I no longer feel that fear and so now when I see sharks (on the screen) I don't feel fear I feel excited and can not wait to do my Scuba training and start seeing all these amazing things for myself, I living way down under in New Zealand at the bottom of the North Island and just want you to know that you have inspired me to become fully certified in diving , and eventually take my love of Videography underwater, thank you Jonathan for showing these awesome things to the world and for giving me a life goal I never would have thought I would ever EVER want to do, but things have had a huge shift in how i feel about the Oceans its wonderful inhabitants and also the great community diving looks to have. Thank you Blue World Team for changing my life! for the better!
Hey, Jonathan! Just wanted to drop in and say I love your show! I stumbled across it about a week ago and since then, I have watched and completed 3 full video playlists of yours haha! I'm obsessed. Thank you to you and your team for putting in the effort to create such a wonderful and magical show!
i have a fear of water since i was a kid.. i dont like swimming and water at all.. but i have become very intersted in ocean and fish because of you jonathan..thank you so much
Helo I am a huge fan and I love swimming I love diving to I have been once in Lexington I can't rilly actually go because I have a baby brother I love your videos you are a good and cool dude .Also I would love to dive with you . Keep your good work up keep making cool videos
Scuba Travel Yeah, sounds great indeed. But if you research about it, you will find video lights with 33000 lumens! Might even be armful to sea life, I guess 😕
Just a small correction, Al Fahal doesn't mean Shark. Al Fahal of animals means strong, or sexually strong. The Island is known as Al Fahal, plus as Al Qersh which means Shark.
This episode was shot in the era where I was using a Sony a6300 in a Nauticam housing. So it was shot at 4K/30p but the camera has an outstanding sensor. After that I switched to the Panasonic GH5 because I could shoot 4K/60p and I like the higher frame rate look better. I'm now shooting with a Panasonic GH6.
Mr. Bird, do you use red filters on your lenses? Do you also already tried or do the combination of red filters on lenses plus cyan filters on lights? I have cheap lights on my setup so I can't change the temperature of it. And thank you for sharing a new spot for most of us, I would like to see more videos like this. I'm a huge fan, please keep the excelent work!!!
No, if I need to use the lights with the red filter, just turn them down low and the water is the cyan filter. It's not a bad idea, just too much stuff to deal with. Because if you take the ref filter off, now you also need to take the cyan filters off the lights.
BlueWorldTV Thanks a lot again, that's the great tip I was looking for !😊. Totally agree with dealing with too much stuff, even tho someday I'll put flip filter holders on everything 😁.
Danny Fenty how is it? I was on Saipan and Tinian 15 years ago and it was pretty good -visibility good and some sharks, but not a LOT of sea life. We are thinking of going again but to Guam this time.
My son Drake loves watching your shows. Today he got to touch a stingray and a giant pacific octopus. He wanted me to tell you that he really want to learn to dive and he wants to dive with you.
Hi Jonathon, Drake really wants to learn to scuba dive, but I'm not sure if he is old enough yet. How old were your kids when you got them started? Drake is 9. He thinks you should do a show at the Bonneville Seabase here in Utah. Yep, Utah has its own ocean like diving. :) www.seabase.net/ He also thinks it would be fun to go to California and dive to see if he could find a California Flounder. Thanks for the reply.
Nature is the best designer, the patterns, the textures and the color combination. Nature is beautiful

Thanks for noting the benifits of the items placed in the water. More attention should be brought to the positive stewardship we can have.

Awesome video!
How many lumens total did you use on the wreck? I absolutely love wrecks, you lit it up really well!!! 😍
I'm using a pair of 6,000 lumen BigBlue lights, so a total of 12,000 lumens.
BlueWorldTV sweet! Thank you! Man that must feel like bringing the sun down with you
Scuba Travel Yeah, sounds great indeed. But if you research about it, you will find video lights with 33000 lumens! Might even be armful to sea life, I guess 😕
Heitor Hashimura lights like that would mainly be used inside of cave systems
Scuba Travel Now I know, thank you for the info :) . I just found those lights recently, thought you didn't know about it 😁 .Nice channel by the way!
Anyone notice the pun in the title!
I did
Just a small correction, Al Fahal doesn't mean Shark. Al Fahal of animals means strong, or sexually strong. The Island is known as Al Fahal, plus as Al Qersh which means Shark.
What I have learned from this: 1. Google translate is not so accurate. 2. That explains the lack of sharks!
I had never heard of an electric ray, thanks great video!!!!
If you want to see an angry electric ray, check out our Kelp Forest video!!
Just thinking about your video and its came...😊
Superb shooting sir!!!😊😊

BlueWorldTv ok xxx
Really informative 😊
Yet another beautiful and fun dive! c:
I am curious though; did you/your companions remove the abandoned net?
No it was too deep. That would take at least an hour of work.
You mentioned our country Philippines😊thank you😍
This is a Beautiful place
dive master Ali, Fabulous he....
Is he famous?
@@BlueWorldTV no idea, i was making a reference to the song in Aladdin.
Your awesome
I love rays so much.
What camera did you shoot this with ? The overwater stuff. Picture quality is stunning.
This episode was shot in the era where I was using a Sony a6300 in a Nauticam housing. So it was shot at 4K/30p but the camera has an outstanding sensor. Yes, red filters for depths 10-50 feet ambient light. Deeper than that, just lights.
BlueWorldTV Thank you for the fast reply!!! But never cyan filters on lights? Anyone reading this already tried?
No, if I need to use the lights with the red filter, just turn them down low and the water is the cyan filter. It's not a bad idea, just too much stuff to deal with. Because if you take the ref filter off, now you also need to take the cyan filters off the lights.

You are amazing
I’m your biggest fan
Shouldn’t they remove that fishing net? Large sea creatures could easily get caught and tangled up in them right?
I used to watch u all the time!!!
You should keep doing that!
Very Beautiful place
Nice video
No sharks but still cool. Yeah! 😎
I like your positive attitude!! :-)
BlueWorldTV 😁
Awesome
Jonathan what recorder do you use and what editor?
You are so cool I want to get a certification in scuba diving soooo bad
Hoping i could do this someday😊
When can you do a diving video in Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands?
Danny Fenty how is it? I was on Saipan and Tinian 15 years ago and it was pretty good -visibility good and some sharks, but not a LOT of sea life. We are thinking of going again but to Guam this time.
Thats heaven its self
