I think a lot of people who slammed Zoe for the collection completely missed the point of it. The product is for people who enjoy using makeup, but prefer neutral shades or who may not feel confident enough using really bright or stand out colours, and I actually think that’s a really good idea. Zoe is not a makeup artist and her audience doesn’t watch her for the makeup, so what did people expect?

Colourpop is my favorite brand! Their eyeshadows are so pigmented and so affordable. I found with their shimmer shades the best way to apply them are actually just your fingertip because it really packs it on beautifully! Love the video 😍❤️

Love your honest opinions. I think the whole collection is just so cute. Zoe put so much effort into these products to get them right and how she wanted them. People shouldn't be being so negative about this collaboration x

I just had time to catch on this video and being an MUA myself I've to say that colourpop is my favorite brand so I'm happy you're trying it!!! When it comes to shimmer shades it's better to apply them with synthetic brushes or with your fingers, same for the highlight, and the blush shouldn't be super pigmented because you're supposed to layer it till you get to the amount you want. I buy every collection that colourpop launches and I can't wait to try it myself when it arrives ❤❤❤
I tested the eyeshadow palette and fell in LOVE with the foil eyeshadows. (Try then with your finger they are crazy pigmented that way!!) They are so pretty!! Excited to hear your opinion💕

So happy to see this! I would love to give some items from this collection a try, I definitely go for more neutral simple makeup so I would honestly prefer something like this over something with crazy colours!!

If you do want more of a pop from the shimmers wet the brush with a mist because the shimmer shadows are baked so that will help a lot
oh wow I haven't heard anything about zoella in years... Not gonna lie, I get that her own style is toned down but these colours are still pretty underwhelming and looking at the palette the colours seem very dupable.

I love how honest you are in this review 😊 Tbh I don't follow Zoella - I only know her by name & I know what she looks like, but that's about it - but it does seem to me that she has put effort in to this makeup! 😄 Even though it's not something I'd usually go for, I have to admit the packaging is really pretty & I like the look you achieved 😊 I know you prefer more shimmery highlighters, but I think the highlighter suits the look because it's more subtle & natural

From watching vlogs, I think that Zoe does prefer a pink highlight, as she always loved the Tanya Burr baked highlighter that was pink! She also never wears blinding highlighter so that’s probably why she didn’t release one (:

Highlighter is rather giving a yellow tint 🤔🙄
The highlighter was pink when it was in the light but made orange patches when it wasn’t reflecting from the light
