I can only go two days between washes but that’s honestly good enough for me! I used to wash my hair daily and now I’m so happy that my hair isn’t as greasy. Great video girl!
I think you're the first person I've watched who's addressed how uncomfortable it is and I've believed them! And the first to say it will take time and how to actually start off instead of just thinking we would know like, "ok start every other day then try every 3 days" that I believed as well! THANK YOU! I finally have confidence I can do this now!
Thankfully I have never had problems with greasy hair, I only wash my hair once a week! I do know a lot of girls that have trouble with this, so I will definitely share these tips with them!! Thanks for sharing ✨
This is the best video! I love you for tackling this topic. I am so concerned with my hair because I am really crazy about making it look healthy and not just make it “look” healthy but be it healthy per se. You are the best! I will try the tips you gave away in this video. Xoxo!
thankyou so much!! years ago I’d wash it once a week and have no idea how I ended up washing it every other day?! I’m going to take these tips and use them and update when I get to 7 days of no washing!! So thankyou for sharing these tips, very grateful :) x
I have to tell you... the first video you made on this, I started implementing and guess what? I now wash my hair twice a week (instead of 5!) and I'm loving it!
Great video. Didn't know you could train your hair to do this. My hair gets supper oily if I don't wash it for a day or two. Sometimes I just get fed up with it and cut it short.
I somehow always end up on random hair videos. Interesting tips haha, I can relate to a couple things (not washing it too often), but like I said, nice tips thanks!
I’ve been washing my hair less and less since I saw your last video lol I just need to invest into a good dry shampoo 🙈🤣 my end are so so so dry. I feel like I constantly need to trim. Your hair is literally goals so beautiful 😍☺️
aw thank you so much! My ends are dry too and my hair dresser suggested putting conditioner on them when it's dry and letting it sit for a few hours before washing it! It definitely helps :)
After shampooing I find I need to put a detangler on the ends while my hair is wet to avoid damaging it during comb out. I shampoo very gently using one of those scrubber type things but it still gets tangled. Any suggestions as alternative to product?
Ive been washing my hair every day for at least 2 years ( i couldn’t go without washing my hair.) Since after cutting my hair short in march of 2019 it instantly became greasy and even through lockdown which was 7 months where i live i washed it everyday. I’m currently on week one and a half of washing my hair every other day. Even that is better than nothing for me at the moment. The reason why im doing the training now is because im on a 3 week lockdown. But after this i need to go back to school and im not sure if im going to be able to continue to do the training since i feel people will judge me. What i might do is put my hair up or even braid it on days where i dont wahs my hair. My hair is very healthy compared to my friends since theirs is damaged and dry so they get confused why i used to wash my hair every day where they can go a week without washing. lol! I would love to see a hairstyles for greasy hair vid from you. I will be subscribing and watching your hair videos from now on. Thanks for the tips
every other day is such a good step! just keep at it and eventually you’ll be able to go even longer. aw, i totally get it but no one will judge you! i always felt insecure too but dry shampoo and braids or other messy hairstyles work wonders! i do have a video on my channel now with a few hairstyles for greasy hair but i’d be happy to film another! we can always use more :) thank you so much for watching and commenting!🖤
Yay, so glad you liked it! I do have a couple skincare videos on my channel! I'm trying to get more into skincare since I'm officially in my mid 20's... gotta preserve my youth while i can haha
What do you do if you need to wash your head (I work on a farm, and get heaps of dirt in my hair) SO... do I just wash with water? B/c then it gets knotty without conditioner...but oily with conditioner and no shampoo.
I workout 5-6 days a week. May I know how can I manage my scalp which gets oily in the 2nd or 3rd day of my hair wash? any product recommendation apart from dry shampoo?
I was wondering if you rinse your hair in between washes? I assume you shower in between washes, so do you rinse your hair then or do you put it up to keep it dry? Great video, I'm going to try to train my hair!
yes i shower daily haha but i do not rinse or get my hair wet! i just put it up in a bun to keep it from getting wet. you can rinse it though if you’d like! if you do decide to rinse i’d suggest putting some conditioner on the ends :) thank you for watching.. you can do it girl!
When you say that you shampoo first with the clarifying shampoo and then your “regular” shampoo for the second wash, what kind do you use for the second wash?
So...I have stick straight hair. So so straight it will relax a kink from a hairband in a mere 3 hours! So my ends are rarely dry but the roots...UGH, it will be a different color it is so oily! With that said, curling my hair isn't really an option for me. I thought braiding would be a good option but I also have fine hair, low density so it looks sparse when I do braid it. Braiding is hard as heck btw! New respect when I see braids now! ....Am I doomed to a permanent loose bun until I reach the week mark of no wash? 🥺 I also just had a thought, is this routine different for virgin versus colored hair?
there are definitely other hairstyles you could try! I have a few videos on my channel where I share ones that I do when my hair is greasy. It's perfect for when you're trying to train :)
my hair gets greasy on the end of day 3 but i even wear it down on day 4 and i've been training and washing my hair once a week for 2 and a half months(because i don't go anywhere on weekend so i don't need to wash it on like 5th day) and it's still the same, i even don't use dry shampoo or like sulfate shampoo i just double wash and wash it properly but i feel like it doesn't work.Do you maybe know why?
have you tried a clarifying shampoo along with your normal shampoo? it helps me so much and i think it would you too! also i think it’s okay to use dry shampoo on day 4! i definitely could not get through a whole week without it but i try not to put it in until later on in the week to avoid having it become greasy too quickly😊
i keep it out of the water! i recently bought a shower cap to use when i’m not washing it and i think it helps as well! it keeps my baby hairs from getting wet/frizzy and helps me prolong the wash☺️
@Monique Bushee 🥺🥺Please read it I have oily scalp and dry ends also my hair is curly and I wash my hair once every 7 days and I've been doing this since years but now my hair continues to get greasy on the third day but I let the oil stay in my hair till the 7th day but that oil traps dirt... I've seen your previous video about how to train your hair , basically the part 1 of this video and you're absolutely right Washing my curly hair takes a lot of time and energy... I just wanna know how to manage this , I mean the grease and dirt.. Can you please help me ??🥺🥺 Also , since last year I have migrane ( a severe headache issue ) which made my scalp sensitive and I've been stressing a lot lot lot since last year so that also impacted my hair badly 🥺😥 You're so sweet and your video actually made me feel good , really good I'm hoping that you'll reply to this because I really need help and I'll be so glad and thankful for your help. Love from India
Hi!! I'm so glad you enjoyed my video. Have you tried double washing? That really seemed to make a big difference for me. I know that we all have different hair types, live in different environments, etc, so sometimes it's not as easy for everyone to get to that point - but I'm sure you will! I think if i were you i'd try double washing and if that doesn't help I'd try rinsing my hair on the 3rd day (no shampoo) and continuing to wait to wash it. I hope that your migraines get better! Thinking of you!
@@MoniqueBushee I'm so thankful for you to reply 😊, this means a lot to me . Yes , When I saw your video I realised that i wasn't giving the right care my hair needed and since then I'm doing everything as you suggested and I can actually see a huge difference , I double wash my hair now and use a clarifying shampoo first then a nourishing one and for conditioner I apply it to the ends only starting form chin length to ends ( I have classic length hair) ..... And the biggest thing is I have stopped touching my hair unnecessarily and all of this was possible only because of you🤗 And I'll surely try rinsing The weather in my city gets too hot in summers so that causes me to sweat a lot and during rain the weather gets too humid so yes it's a point but I'm trying and it's making a difference My migraines are slowly getting better but sometimes they hit my head..!! I've been waiting for your reply and it's so nice to talk to you...you're so sweet and gorgeous 💕 Also I love all your videos I'm so grateful for your help Take care 🤗
I can only go two days between washes but that’s honestly good enough for me! I used to wash my hair daily and now I’m so happy that my hair isn’t as greasy. Great video girl!
How long did it take? Mine is so greasy even the second day. And the third day looks like everyone else after a week
I think you're the first person I've watched who's addressed how uncomfortable it is and I've believed them! If only our hair could never get oily! haha

i use the mega sleek shampoo and conditioner by matrix! it’s in an orange bottle 😊

Would getting your hair wet in the shower (not using any shampoo) classify as washing? Or would you just consider washing as using a shampoo?
no i don’t think so! i consider washing as shampooing! ☺️
