Being a cat guy, I love this story! Nothing wrong with guys lovin on cats or vice versa. Props to these guys for taking him in and especially giving him that cool house complete with the fire pole. I really like how Flame own his space and his firemen. Great job guys and be safe out there.

Kitty was no doubt a firefighter in his previous life & came back as a kitty. Makes sense to me since he doesn't seem to mind the noise & he took to the place pretty quick.

100% agree. Nothing wrong with loving cats as a guy. I've fostered around 15 cats now for no kill shelters before adopting my current kitty (Houdini). Wouldn't have it any other way.

Flame's a sweetheart! So glad he can be there for those hardworking firemen! But Jackson...my husband is a HUGE cat guy, so you aren't alone out there flying the cat flag. My husband LOVES our cats, all cats, but our 3 rescue's...he's such a GREAT cat dad, and he's always showing people videos and pic's of them. He grows cat grass, they have play time, he's the lap they go to and when he's out of town for business, they ALL miss him. He's also...a Cat Daddy, you're the original man...but he's got the spirit. :)

I didn't sleep last night, I have a migraine and a bad toothache, and I'm angry at the world. Best solution? My Cat From Heaven videos. I rewatch these any time I'm in a bad place or having a bad day, and they never fail to make everything better. You can't go wrong with kitties.

I'm so happy that these firefighters have an awesome cat with them. I wish more fire stations knew how awesome an animal companion could be for their crew. So many lives could be saved (animals and humans) and so much stress can be relieved.

I love this so much! My hubby is a former firefighter and he's the one who turned me into a crazy cat lady!
That's awesome. We have 7 cats (all rescues). Four are just about a year old now. When they were 6 months old I was injured in the line of duty (partial rear of the lower patellar tendon). I came home from the hospital with no visible injury and my wife set me up in bed. All at once the 4 youngest cats jumped up on the bed and started sniffing at my injured left knee. Eventually all 7 cats were surrounding me.
After 23 years in public safety I've been diagnosed with PTSD. On my bad anxiety days the cat (of the 4 youngest) that chose me will constantly follow me around the house. He'll head bump me. Try to climb my leg. Essentially be a pain in the rear until I stop what I'm doing to pay attention to him.
So Jackson I can honestly say I love all 7 of our cats and would rather have cats than dogs.

Awe that's adorable! 🥰 What a great cat! Sometimes after a hard day of work you just need a furry little friend to cheer you up. And firefighters are some of the hardest working people in the world. Also I love that little firehouse they made for him. So clever!
These firefighters rescue humans and their animal friends all the time. Maybe Flame is rescuing them! Just by being a friend and being there to comfort them when they need him. One of the best things about this story is that this cat loves and trusts the firefighter team so much and he feels so safe and happy that all of the loud sounds don't bother him. Keep up the good work, keep spreading the love, and stay safe out there guys.

Flame is totally the most chill cat ever. My baby was found at a recycling plant around a ton of noise and cats that grow up with a lot of noise and survive, they're fearless and ultra chill. Flame even looks like a flame with his colorings!
Some people think only dogs can do something because they're strong and have great noses. Cats are important too!
Very kool I’m a old cat guy love them all. I’ve worked with rescue groups saving cats since I was a kid in the 60’s. I’ve had wild cats and basic house cats. Right now I have a Asian Leopard cat very kool baby a year and 3 months old. Real handful.
They not only took him in, they went above and beyond to make sure he really feels at home there and that warms my heart :')
I wish more businesses would home pets. Cats r for men too. Love that. When I was single it was at the top of my list of qualities I wanted in a man. I was even told I would probably have to get rid of my cat in order to get a man. My husband loves cats. So I allowed him to marry me. He's been happy ever since.

My cousin had to get rid of her cat when she got married because the husband doesn't like cats (her sister took him in) and the poor guy died soon afterwards. Now that she has a baby, I wonder how nice it would have been for the kid to grow up with a cat in the house. The cat had a strong nobullshit personality (he attacked me once because I was sitting in his place in the sofa, though before that he kept warning me and growling and hissing for like an hour before taking drastic measures, so it was really my fault for not moving a couple dozen centimeters) that could help the kid grow into a strong person.

I agree! I like dogs too but I am much more of a cat guy and the people who think guys aren't allowed to like cats are just insecure pussies, pun intended. If I could ever get another dog I'd get a German shepard or a Border collie.

My father used to be a volunteer firefighter in the 80s and 90s. While the station never had a firedog or a firecat in this case, my dad loves cats, and even he was devastated when we had to put our elderly cat to sleep a few years ago. A real man loves cats and dogs equally! Even if you're more of a dog person, I don't see what's wrong with still appreciating cats.

My cat helps me with my anxcity disorder he will sit with me when I have an antack and pur and then he will stay with me through out the day and at night he will wake me if I start to have a night Tera or an asthma atack I love my cat like king and I spoile him cos over the past 4 years he's helped me moor than any human has so he deserves it cats are amazing animals when they pick you it's cos they know you need them xx

My dad was NOT a cat guy until Tiki came into his life; my stepmom adopted him and since he was young and dad is a guy, he played a little rough with him and for the most part minded his business; Tiki decided to change that and he shire loves his daddy and my dad loves him too lol

I adopted a Scottish Fold (likely heterozygous) and he has recently started limping at two years old. I had no idea Scottish Folds were such an unethical species to breed. He was a kitten from an acquaintance's cat, so I do not regret adopting him, but I am sad to see him in pain.
Not only are cats for men, but just cute things in general! There are few things that are better in life than seeing some tough guy interacting positively with something cute (like a cat)
Jackson Galaxy I got 2 kittens about a week ago and when I carry them they dont scratch sometimes
and I don't know why so you know why or anyone in the comments know why.
So i rescued my cat toby around 4 years ago. She was born in a super market basement and never saw the light of day till i took her home. We have a TON of feral cats outside of my house and my kitty is a very scaredy cat. I dont know if its because shes alway on edge because of the outside cats (we feed them so they are always around) or if it's because shes still afraid because of where she was born and how people treated her while she was there. If someone could help me out that would be awesome!
Gabby Morgan I think there was an episode were Jackson helped someone who had a similar problem by getting a group that traps, fixes, and releases stray cats involved.
Might be a good idea to do the same. Maybe try looking up online to see if there are any groups like that near your area?
And in another episode I remember one indoor cat who was being harassed by a neighbor’s outdoor cat through a window, and they used a sort of automatic water spray thing to keep it away.
