Ya its actually insane how much more health they have. To put into perspective of the the health difference, the renaissance alien grunt has like 90 or 80 health, while the black mesa one has 250 I think you can see just how insane that difference is
@@generalkratos Btw you should probably install a addon that allows you to see enemy health, just so you can see what would be fair, and see how much health the winner had left, such as say a 5000 health enemy looses to a antlion guard ( whitch, isnt really that insane when you realise the antlion guard does 250 damage to all npcs it hits, has a 80% damage resistance to everything, and has 500 health ) then you can see the antlion guards health. EDIT : or you can use it to make more fair battles, sense as i said the alien grunt has 80 or so health compared to the black mesa versions 250, so you can make it a 2 vs 1 so its more fair
I think HL1 AGrunts and Nihilanth looked much better than the BS ones. AGrunts looks much bulkier and looks more armored, while Nihilanth looked less human and looked more like an alien with the hollow eyes and strange mouth.
Black Mesa made a mistake with their design of the Nihilanth. They made the middle arm look natural, although the original design was clearly showing, that it was attached by surgery. It's not a natural limb!
and also giving them that teleport feature... that's not even in black mesa. still though, if both controllers had their accurate attacks & abilities, reckon the black mesa one still would've won
Newer enemies run like in Hl:2 ( on a better source engine or idk how to explain it ) and bc of it, they can attack faster, smoother and better, can’t ignore the buffs too
