Religion can be such a powerful tool in politics, and sometimes it's used to manipulate voting behavior. People are often afraid to speak out against religion, especially when their community holds certain beliefs strongly. It's not just about agreeing or disagreeing it the fear of being scorned or rejected by the group. Even the most intelligent people might hold back on their true opinions because they don't want to face that kind of social isolation. This creates a cycle where, instead of critically thinking about what’s right or wrong, people just go along with the crowd. Over time, this kind of fear-based conformity affects a large majority of people, and it can even shape political outcomes. The problem is, it's hard to break that cycle because the pressure to conform is so strong. It’s only when people start questioning these societal norms that real change can happen, but that process takes time (hope).

PAS isn’t the only problem here. All Malay Right-Wing centric parties are pretty much the problems and PKR are pandering to toxic Islamic conservative majority. Also no fan of DAP here due to constant appeal to draconian laws. If DAP does care about civil right they should have called for repealing Blasphemy law along with their penal code Article 295-298, Islamic moral enforcement, more equal status for minority & call for atheist rights to establish their org.
