Not this Mayweather style of not getting hit. The whole point is to take it and not avoid the impact of the strike. This ruins the whole draw of the sport!

The rule is that the opponent should have free access to the cheek. The chin's position doesn't matter much.
If someone tucking his chin prevents the opponent from delivering his slap correctly, the referees will correct the position.
It is a foul to raise the arms that block free access to the cheek.
